  • I don't know, I wouldn't say most people living in Europe feel particularly "unsafe" in the current political order, and there's no reason for that to escalate in to an arms race as Mr. Putin suggests. But of course a diminished American influence would benefit Russia politically so no wonder this speech surfaced. I'm Finnish myself so no, not looking out for American interests.

  • He's one cagey bee...

  • Putin, the only stronghold against globalism and world corporations!!!

  • he is no nonsense man, realistic; good that people started to realize it....

  • Putin is the leader of his nation. Others in this room are mere politicians.

  • 6:19 is that john macain looking mad as hell lol

  • It not Putin's full speech! The author why 5 minutes are cut out? Should be 14! There there was the most interesting where Vladimir Putin has exposed Americans and the American policy fools, having caused general laughter in a hall :D concerning the nuclear weapon. Not offset to the author!

  • I am really amazed that nobody mentioned about John Perkins. In his interviews and books, he talks exactly the same stuff Putin said here. Just read the books or look the interviews about Confession of an Economic Hit Man, Hoodwinked etc... and you will get exactly what Putin is talking about but in more detail.

  • this is putin saying basically no to the new world order and that he won't be a part of it.

  • Did he mention these things to gwb when they were pallying it up all the time. This guys is no hero, he is under the same directions as the west, as proven by his first of all lack of calling out the true villains, no its the US, UK, etc these are not the problem, just names to switch blame from the elitists that control them. Most importantly countries like his are not pulling away from the control system, they just want their part in this nwo, all the world leaders are selling us into. puppet.

  • @alifico - At last someone with real (in)sight.

THIS IS DIRECTED AT THOSE WHO ARE WATCHING OUR EVERY MOVE: Come on boys you know I have the eye to see and a soul with sufficient vision - you know what I want - it is reasonable. it is time to make sure the emoluments give me reason to smile.....

  • im tierd of all this bullshit , i live in america , im mexican this nations people make this land grate but we have curruption in the higher office , it is time to stand up and fight and show this world who america is,

  • dont worry about these american putin-haters, they fear successful dictators lol, thats why they hate Saddam, they can talk all the crap they want, fact of the matter is....Russians dont give a fuck, actually, they;re not even listenin!

  • @sovietkotek 1. Putin is not a dictator but simply a very popular prime minister who runs a tight ship because any other kind of government will do more harm than good in Russia. Secondly, Saddam was a very unsuccessful ruler. He lost 3 wars that cost his people mightily and eventually his own life for the many crimes he committed. I hope a young many like yourself from a country like Malesya would find more stable principles than dictatorship on which to base his political philosophy!

  • indeed, he was a popular president, and then a popular prime minister, i stand corrected. secondly, Saddam WAS initially a sucessful ruler, minusing the wars, he used the recovered oil wealth after nationalization to turn Iraq into the most advanced secular muslim nation on the middle east, with free first class dental care. although yes, he did make some mistakes, all rulers make mistakes

  • I think when a million of your people die in a failed war (Iran) and unknown tens of thousands against the US & Allied forces, and you, yourself, wind up clutching a satchel with $100,000 in cash in a subterranean hide out, not to mention a host of other shambolic and murderous "exigencies", it is a gross understatement to say merely, "he did make some mistakes". To say that Saddam's Iraq was "the most advanced" Muslim state in the Middle East is to permit appearances blind you to reality.

  • When the Americans said that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, I didn't believe it for a minute. If Iraqis had played around with biological weapons with their foreign scientific advisors gone, they would have killed off half their own population BEFORE inflicting a casualty on "the enemy".

Like most proud people and macho men (Muslims who are the hardest drinker's in Islam) they put up a brave front, but they were weak in everything, right across the board.

  • yes, exactly, their tanks for instance were totally inferior, t-72s without even any improvements, plus, america had complete air superiority

  • They may have the last laugh afterall. Because of rampant corruption in the US government, the invasion and occupation of Iraq has cost the US so much money that it may prove to be the straw that finally broke the America's financial back. When it began the US was in a boom. Today, things are so bad, the value of the US dollar ihas to be propped up by credit from the Chinese government.

And unbelievably the US carries on its addictive TV watching as if nothing has happened.

  • indeed, very true. ordinary iraqis today are also suffering as recent aggression of Iran has been almost allowed by the new iraqi army. iraqis themselves say that the old army and republican guards would never allow such a thing and they would fire missiles back immedietly. this new army of Iraq organized by US is a paper tiger.

  • @sovietkotek FYI there's other ways to track people down besides the recent comment page

  • @StopEastPropaganda sorry but i never really saw myself as a desperate stalker..=D

  • Face it Russia is finished. The country is in rabid decline and it only exports oil.

  • History of Russia is very dramatic, full of ups and downs, highs and lows. They are no strangers to times of trouble, hunger, and despair.

This, right now, isn't the worst it's ever been. Not even close.

Russia finished? Ha! They're only getting started.

  • russia is doing much better, you are only told it is worse

  • @shussey100 Well, I very much hope it is not finished. The nation I am worried about is the United States which is in hock to the Arab oil cartel which drains half a trillion of its wealth every year and Chinese industry which under sells everyone of its own manufacturing industries. How is America going to stabilize its economy in a free trade, global environment\? Economic history shows that it can't!

  • agree

  • There are signs that Obama has developed a protectionist strategy subtle enough not to rouse an international back lash. The Chinese are complaining and a couple of days ago Brown and Sarkozy got together and complained. I have felt also that this anti-Toyota publicity has had the whiff of a campaign about it. Without pulling down Toyota, Detroit hasn't a chance. Any way the balance of payment's deficit is down about 40% from what it was two years ago.

So manybe there is some hope.

    I

  • You're an idiot, Putin is the most intelligent and realistic head of state today. Russia and China are the only forces capable of fighting back against this anglo-american finance monstocity and you think thats bad? You're an idiot, who do you think is better? Merkel? HAHHA The pathetic weakling Merkel, a former communist? Or Maybe Brown who wants to extort money from Iceland?

  • @walterasgbenjamin brainwashed idiot, go continue to love your bloody USA...

  • Stop speaking for Germans/Europeans!!!

Schröder, Chirac, Berlusconi, Aznar etc are by far not the only Europeans who appreciate Putin as a politician of in many ways exceptional qualities. Even in Ukraine (!!!) a poll showed him to be the most well-respected politician.

Putin is quite popular in China too, as you could see at the beginning of the Olympic games, and Russia and China have moved together to become allies.

Moreover at the moment Russia is closer to the West than China.

  • Better at least listen to Putin's speech once before spitting rubbish in the name of Germans/Europeans. This is one of several speechs of Putin that became famous in Germany and was quoted and reprinted a lot by admirers from the left and right camp. Also think of the huge frenetic applause Putin received in Bundestag a bit earlier. Many people feel uneasy about the political climate in Russia, but they still think of Russia as a friendly nation and Putin as a witty and eloquent politician.

  • vladimir putin would look awesome if he grew a moustache and a beard, like old school style russians, i would love that as it would piss americans off even more on top of his overwhelming successes.

  • -- Great speach ...

  • -- USA is fucking imperial power , screwing up anything and anyone who does not agree with their indeology ,,, USA you may ROT in HELL ....

  • you mean our government..right?

  • It seems like John McLame looks pretty angry at 6:16...

  • fuck u

  • How do you know, have you been there?we can see that hes not evil were not blind, unlike you who elected bush twice and only realized now,Putin hasnt done a single bad thing, except for things hes not done but been blamed for, life in Russia is better now thanks to Putin, dont say its not true, you think you know everything about Russia, you say we should trust you and hate Putin,i could tell you not to trust in your president, that hes evil, but we dont make stuff up,we know as much about Obama as you

  • Putin has done great things for Russia and how he's improved the country. But there are certain aspects I personally don't like about him, but that's with every politician. Putin is a politician and not everyone always likes him and agrees with him. But you can't deny there are actions Putin has taken that he shouldn't have. However, to me, Putin is a great politician (and sexy, but that's not here or there).

  • true, but it seems that everything putin does wrong american media exadurates sometimes, or makes a good thing look bad, i hope there are more smart people who will not just listen and take the oppinion of others, and there are some things putin should have done differently

  • that's why people shouldn't just listen to and read from one side of the story but from both pov's. Don't just read from a western newspaper but from a Russian or a different view.

  • yes, i do, but its sometimes hard to believe either side

  • Its not true, you havent seen what hes done, people are returning to Russia, and president Medvedev has done allot too, but USA government will never say anything good about Russia or its government, you cant judge by what you seen in your media, in some ways Russia is almost like America, and many people from other countries dont want to come there, but when they come they dont want to leave, Russia doesnt deserve all this hate, its a good country

  • Ignored or not, Putin is right, the current status quo cannot be held forever. Even though these phrases already sound kind of cliche because of the way much Western media presents them, there cannot be a unipolar world, as it is increasingly unstable. But I'm wondering, with the depletion of natural resources, and only certain countries being in control of them, will life in the multi-polar world really be better for everybody?

  • Forgive me for sounding naive, but will living standards improve on the overall, global average (but drop for the Western countries)? Will everybody share resources and there'll be no negative effects for the West (but still positive for everybody else)?

Putin is right about the double standards still applied (to Russia) after the Cold War, but the simple truth is that its in the West's interests to keep Russia down, it's too big and strong of a potential competitor.

  • I wonder what do they call "democracy" and how can they teach Russia what democracy is if they keep Russia down because it's potential competitor

  • guys, it's incredible!

it's the first time i have heard the speech, and i am shocked.

true, it was never shown in the west but it was ALWAYS labelled as "russia is getting assertive", "agressive", "putin is playing his muscles", etc.

i am reading this, looking at his manner of presenting himself, and i am seeing a reasonable man, who speaks the truth!

    damn the western propaganda. echt.

  • sovietkotek -- in 1988 , CCCP , had largest number of nuclrear missiles , and they did not bomb anybody , THEY desintegrated peacefully .. THAT I call , AMAZING ..

  • weallliveinusa -- Because PUTIN speaks the truth , and also , IF people in Western states , listen to what PUTIN is saying , they will see he is resonable man , BUT no They shut Putin and let Western propaganda , convince people that Russia is the enemy.

  • even after the cold war, western propaganda still insists on putting down russia. i hope the antichrist will be american, and the armies of God to stop the antichrist and armegeddon will be led by putin.

  • Putin is great leader and so it is Medvedev! Western media just want to tell us something else.

    Great speech by the way.

    Greetings from Finland!

  • This particular speech was NEVER shown in the Western media. Even a part of it.

Well, maybe at 3 a.m. I don't know, but not in prime time.

  • Putin wasnt joking around.

  • -- THESE western fuckers will die in AFganistan forever , IRAQ too , CCCP dissolved peacefully , and they could very easily destroy every city in W.Europe and USA ,, now TODAY they backstabbed RUSSIA since 1991 -2008,,,

  • thats absolutely correct! youre awsome!

  • God bless Mr.Putin, he is saviour of Mother Russia!

  • we love him,all ortodox do

  • Vladimir Putin was/is the right Man at the right time in our History. I only wish I could have heard this speech sooner.

  • Great speech, like he always does! He is the best!

  • Is it weird that I've listened to this video, and many more videos like it, simply to hear the Russian language being spoken?

  • i love the fact that Putin speaks fluent German yet speaks only Russia. It's saying to the world, better learn Russian because we are getting ready to become the leader again. G-d willing.

  • Great speech. Thanks a lot for uploading.

  • Remarkable speech. I agree with Putin,s equal distribution of power instead of letting one tyrant over rule each and every country.

  • 1:45

very remarkable! mr. putin is quoting franklin d. roosevelt,

the last (except for kennedy) american president who wasn't the puppet of the global tycoons and private bankers. roosevelt managed to win over the fasist demons (hitler, mussolini) that were envoked by the same people (bankers) who had orchestrated big depsression in the 30-ies, and to end it giving the american and the european people freedom, chance and jobs, by forcing the bankers to ease up.

  • Hahahah, mother fucker, you sik polskiy moron, fucking pshek. You stupid dum fag, I hope crisis will fuck you hard. We will take Ukrain back and will start fuck you agayn. Hahahahaha, american laying.

  • now, thank God no other fool like you has said anything like that about the most powerful man in the world, paranoik1980

  • I like Putin very mach, I was voite twice for him. What are you want?

  • I think the United States and Russia needs to work on our relationship. NATO is not a threat to Russia. If I was Russian, I would be more worried about Iran with nuclear weapons than Ukraine and Georgia in NATO. Does Russia need to worry about Ukraine and Georgia in NATO or more muslim countries with nuclear weapons? Muslims are no friends of Russia after what happened in Chechnya..

  • NATO exists to oppose Russia (more accurately to oppose powers that a single NATO member is powerless against, which today can only be Russia). Label of 'defensive alliance' is no longer valid after Afganistan and Iraq. Hence when NATO moves to extend its influence, it creates a direct threat to Russian Federation.

  • @piancu Russia cares about REAL stuff not about some Mythe...

  • Have you ever noticed that the Russian alphabet looks like Latin only upside down and backwards! (:

  • Cyrillic alphabet was actually derived from Greek alphabet by Byzantine scholars in 10th century. Seeing how Latin alphabet was also derived from Greek, similarities are inevitable.

  • Yes, but thousand years after the much more widespread and simpler latin alphabet already existed. Was this really necessairy by Cyrill and Method? bI blame Heraclius, Byzanz should have stayed with latin!

  • It couldn't cover the phonetic diversity of old Russian language. Glagolitic alphabet therefore included 41 letters (most of them looked nothing like Greek or Latin). Later Cyrillic alphabet came around and Peter I edited it heavily in order to 'westernize' it. That's why it's so similar to latin.

  • What the hell?!? Do u speak Russian?!

  • stupid bastard, of course is russian language.

  • Then go and learn some grammar rules! It's grammatically incorrect!!

  • Respect for so many true and wise comments Mr. Wladimir Putin.

I really expect , that Mr. Putin is a real hope against greedy and mad globalists.

I also agree with this fine speech. Intelligent and normal Mr. Putin is a real sunshine in contrast to other politicians.

THANKS Mr. Putin from Germany !

  • @Nachdenklicher Agreed. I wish Europe had a leader similar to this. We do not have a single one. Not one puts its country national interest above either pleasing the globalists' or his or her own self-interest.

  • A very fine speech. I agree with him. And his utterly frank tone is refreshing. He speaks for all who are frustrated with America's arrogance and hubris. Only respect for international law can secure peace for our world. The USA's unilateralism is disasterous for all.

  • That's why this speech was banned from all the Western channels.

When Bush was speaking they showed him live.

    Putin - never.

  • Putin talks about the uSSa like they are a bunch of children. lol

  • Historical speech. Russia had moved from hidden to open opposition to USA hegemony. We'll see what is gonna come of this?

  • It's hurge my evolution about this man in few mounth. For me he was responsible of Beslan tragedy, banned freedom... But nobody can deny anymore that he has the best view of the world. In 20 or 50 years, we will say that he had right. Moreover, he has got his country economy back on its feet again. And he hold his word because he respected constitution, leting a lawer lead Russia...

  • Saakashvily will eat its pants soon.

  • @Obchelli One word IDIOT

  • Nothing to add.Respect.

  • Mr. Putin, One word " RESPECT "

  • Comment removed

  • thank y Vlad.

  • Putin is a really smart, wise man. This is the reason the western dont like him.Compare Bush and you see yourself ;)

  • the west doesn't like him because he expelled zionism from his country, for the most part.

he is a big obstacle for the world bankers.

  • He has more more brains than ombama and mcschame combined

  • I'd rather have Putin for president than Bush.

  • no wonder the circles of power in USamerica hate Putin so much, that was the equivalent of a declaration of independence... meanwhile europe still is usa lapdog.

  • Respect!!!

  • i like him... he doesn't care about political correctnes... and always to the point and with humor..

  • Best man

  • we love him.

  • identify your self, what idea do you represent so can clear whats what? reply

  • that's ridiculous, eulex10, you might as well say Angela Merkel is Hitler and that G.W. Bush is Ronald Reagan. There may be some parallels between Putin and Stalin, but overall I think Putin sincerely wants the best for his country, whereas Stalin was willing to destroy it for the sake of his own paranoid thoughts.

  • Slava Putinu

"I'll have to disagree" This is what American Democracy is all about!

  • Putin is (was) an great president, and its true what he sdaud on the conference!bravo!

  • Putin liegt golden richtig.

  • he has got the exellent diplomatic skills!

  • the most sensible speech ever heard....not like european leaders who speak for bush...america should stop everything, atleast killing innocent people...

  • who are you talking about Putin? Thats some serious balls coming from someone living in the states. I could've sworn the dickheads in charge here have made a run for the oil to gain more power.

Don't tell me you still believe this america fighting the forces of evil bullshit?

  • I don't think it takes any balls for someone living in US to sympathize with US point of view, I would think on the contrary, this is quite normal behavior.

  • Thats not my point. People say shit about Putin when they have no clue who he is. But they fail to notice evil people here in the States.

  • gosciu,

Oh man, please don't drop so low that you are calling people dickheads? Monkeys can call others that, bro. I would hope to respect your point of view more. Please don't go there.

And no, I am not a supporter of the leaderships in US as you ask of me.

I'll discuss an intellectual debate on Putin however, anytime just let me know.. and please don't try to mix in BS with the debate. Peace-

  • US is doing the opposite 24/7. Right we are going to Iraq, our mission is to disable nuclear weapons. There no weapons of mass destruction. Dam, fine we will change our mission. Plan B well then we going to fight dictatorship, tyranny and bring democracy, "eh". Oh shit aren't we quite hypocritical there and contradict democracy. Of course you are!

  • you have to filter out the players and oligarchs from the general polulation. its just that people are stupid and let them get away with it. Anyhow check this out

    watch?v=AiCi3sLNvIM

  • gosciu555 thanks mate very interesting video, very interestig, keep me posted

  • there is more like that on my channel if you like, later

  • oh really thanks, definitely.

  • Greedy agenda for accessing more supreme power? Can you describe and justify that agenda then? If you can't, then there is no such agenda and it is time to stfu and not to make a nuisance of yourself.

  • SF legacy,

You are correct, an intelligence dominated, controlled govt leadership siloviki/neo-con agenda is acting under an agenda of supreme power and control.

Give me Bukovsky and Paul, and after 4 years we can debate who should stfu.

(that's such a weak argument to say stfu, btw, please guy) Grow up.

    Keep the hope.

  • Ok I apologise. When you were talking about greedy agenda for supreme power and aggression, were you talking about Putin? And if so in which context then: global or national?. Bukovsky I heard that name somewhere. Of course he is guy that constantly runs for presidential elections. I don't real understand what where he fits into this discussion. (cont)
