That Vileplumes solarbeam vs the Garchomp was the best solarbeam i've ever seen. It just proves that all that underused pokemon are not rubbish. In fact in some cases they're better than overused ones like legedaries.

Pretty smart to use something as fast as Starmie for Screen Support, too. I love how each time, that prevented it from being (almost) 1HKOd right away with a Crunch.

I can actually tell the difference between Garchomp and it's shiny in this game haha. It's a different shade of blue.
Gravity and sleeping moves? I find that very useful lol, Hypnosis is 100% now!

I've used the encore/disable combo on my annoyer team. It's hard to prevent switches without Wobbuffet though. I put Clefable to sleep because I didn't want it to keep boosting its stats. Better safe than sorry. '-)

That's the 1st time I've ever seen an opponent without a name (or not much of one). Catching half of his team seems suspicious as well...too bad he stunk.
It technically would qualify as a gravity team, but I made a true gravity team that depends on the move also (dynamic punch, zap cannon, etc.) I haven't uploaded a video with its revisions since HG/SS.

I really liked that Encore/Disable combo. I thought about doing something like that too. It's just hard to think of ways to make it work.
I did feel bad for your first opponent though since you slept his last Pokemon when you still had three. I'm not surprised at all that he gave up.
Very cool use of Gravity though. I wouldn't expect that type of thing from Starmie. Great battles!

AH!!!! I used that exact Encore/Disable strategy on my latest team!
Its a very terrifying strategy.
And using moves like Focus Blast and Hypnosis in a Gravity is very creative. People over look them.
