So i am a girl scout and none of the troops i have ever been in or have ever heard of even talk of the things they are being acused of. i do not see the big deal of the child being amitted, even if they are transgender, either. We're tripling our order! I grew up a Girl Scout and, yes, I am transgendered, female to male. Even if it was an "all girl experience," I still enjoyed it and I definitely grew as a person. Even after being out, I still keep in touch with my former leader. I am so proud of the GS in Colorado for allowing Bobby to join and I am glad I had a chance to be a part of such an epic organization. Here's an Idea. How about we do the opposite of what the girl suggests? Take up a local donation drive, buy up as many boxes of GScookies as the donation amount allows, submit a letter of endorsement/support to the GSA for allowing transgender people into the GSA, and then giving the cookies to less fortunate families who normally would not be able to enjoy the delicious cookies?I myself am unable to being overseas, but I feel it would be a perfect message to send that intolerance is not okay.
