That sucks man, you buy a new truck but have to lay out another 300 snots just to get it to last 1 run. Its like how far do you go?
I know they have a metal outer diff gear available now but im thinkin of writing mine off as a dead dog! Cant be bothered with spending out that miuch just to get it up to the standard that everything else is off the shelf!
I know what you mean timbulb. I just bought one this weekend and in 3 runs ive got 2 bent drive cups, 2 bent driveshafts and stripped idle gear and stripped outer diff gear! Grr. They are fun esp when i put my Novak GTB setup in it but imm having trouble finding a decent spares stockist. Any recommendations anyone??
Get this, got te ally idler and new diff. Used it for one run and stripped the diff again!!! GRR. I was using a novak 3.5r so i bought a 5.5 Light and still stripped the gear! I have a 15 year old mardave cobra and put the 3.5 in that and guess what??? Its fine! Not happy with the high roller right now.
This thing absolutely FLIES when upgraded correctly. All it really takes is a new ESC and motor so you can use 7 and 8 cells. It's a badass truck that doesn't really get the attention it deserves.

I found out that a Tean Associated #313 spur gear works in this truck. I couldn't find the Losi one anywhere, so in the meantime I found the TA one.

They have the Mini LST2 which is pretty good except for servo issues. The raminator looks like the closest thing to a 1/18th scale highroller.
