Any Christian who's brave enough to research a bit further and dig a bit deeper than most believers are willing to (or driven to) into the true origins of the religion, as well as the ones that came before it, will inevitably discover the shocking truth....And will likely not be happy with what they find. Unfortunately, reality doesn't change whether we approve of it or not. The Christian faith (and all others) would never have even taken root had the people known then what is known now...Truth.

When people speak of Christians they are referring to those who believe in and follow Christ. There is a big difference. Further, FLDS do not claim to be Mormon. So please move on. You are wrong. Accept it and move on.

Yeah, Christ, not a multitude of Gods which mormons believe they can all become. I understand how people can WANT to believe in moronism. I just don't get how they CAN believe it. Actually I do understand. Nice try on the recruiting though! And if YOU would be interested in learning about some of the hypocracies let me know. I know of a site that covers everything from the racist teachings that ended in 1978, to the ACTUAL polygamy of joey, to the "revelations" which allow the church to change to be accepted socially. It's ALL factual, and ALL clearly shows why mormonism is NOT christianity.

This thought-process is scary and leads me to believe that religious opinions aren't evolving in to saner territory. For awhile I thought, if people need religion to help them through tough times and find a community, then is it really a problem? But the political involvement, prying in to schools, foreign policy focus is scary. It is cute that you need an invisible sky-daddy to help you find meaning in life but when you start applying that to the outside world.

Uhhh... but still, life is precious and is something only God can give. The greatest love is to give up that gift of life to preserve that of another. And committing suicide is a giant sin because it throws away that ultimate gift. So surely taking away that gift by pretending you have the right to judge (when in fact only God does), in any form, is wrong.

Oh, I see what you're talking about. Yes, sometimes it's the only alternative to save more lives. But in some cases our government is leading us to kill innocent people, or people who aren't truly a danger. There has been so much unnecessary death in the Iraqi War in all aspects. That's when it becomes uncalled for. And just saying that too many figureheads use religion as an excuse for terrible things, which is a complete betrayal for those who follow faith.
