@cinderdockery94 Um, you pay (it's actually 10 bucks now) and you can download all the music you want. But you have to keep paying the monthly fee. The 10 songs were for you to keep, even if you cancaled the subscription. Not sure they still do the 10 song thing tho

To put it in simple terms, if you love apps then the Zune HD is not for you. The Zune HD has AWESOME video & sound quality. The Zune to me personally is NOT built for apps. I personally could care less about "Apps". I want to listen to music NOT..play games,surf the web,type,draw,check my email and everything else that I COULD actually do on my laptop or tablet. ITS NOT THAT DEEP! I am a fan of Zune and i think that the Zune is great for what it is. NOT everything has to be just like APPLE! smh
Probably one of the nicest MP3/Media players for the money. Also a piece of computing history. This is the only commercial product that I am aware of that uses the 1st Generation Nvidia Tegra Mobile Processor.
The reason the Zune HD is better than the Ipod Touch because of one thing, It's an mp3 player. I say this because the Itouch is there to be a device, they put way more emphasis on games and apps and using it for things other than an mp3 player and because of that the itouch's music quality suffers. The Zune does is a better mp3 player
@TobuscusW Zune's Marketplace has some cool apps, but there isn't that many to choose from, you have the basic apps like Facebook and Twitter but the Zune HD app has a very cool game Audiosurf tilt for it.

@makinmeacrazy Yes, all you have to do is download the Zune software, and place your music into the Music Library of you computer. It's super easy, well organized, and has a much better interface than iTunes. Good luck!

@sannixus sound like the same thing I had..I had a zune 80 and just a week or so ago..it crashed on me..sent it to them and its unrepairable..and since no longer make it, they goin send me a new Zune HD 32..hell since you got a 120 they will most likely send you a 64 hd
but alas no real info regarding format support for video or audio, from what I've read thus far it lacks support for: drag and drop media to device (audio and video), support for two of the most common video formats of H.264 and AVI, whether "ZUNE software" plays nice with media not from the market place both audio and video. some of that may just be a lack of assumption regarding the expectations and minimums of a device in the market, but its things like this that can change purchase interest.
Can you put music on the Zune HD or do you have to pay for the music ? Id want to have a player where you can just drag and drop mp3 files onto the player
@hbk12fan yeah once you go into the Zune software settings, you can tell it to monitor any folders you want for any content you want - music, videos, pictures, even podcasts. These folders will be updated automatically in the software as you add and remove content. Or you could choose to manually manage what content goes on your Zune and essentially just drag and drop (like GermanSoccer618 said)

It looks great and all but i had a Zune 120 and my only concern is will it crash after a few months ?... My zune 120 didnt last long and the glitches were so annoying. Me and customer service had an ongoing relationship -.-

@sannixus sound like the same thing I had..I had a zune 80 and just a week or so ago..it crashed on me..sent it to them and its unrepairable..and since no longer make it, they goin send me a new Zune HD 32..hell since you got a 120 they will most likely send you a 64 hd

but alas no real info regarding format support for video or audio, from what I've read thus far it lacks support for: drag and drop media to device (audio and video), support for two of the most common video formats of H.264 and AVI, whether "ZUNE software" plays nice with media not from the market place both audio and video. some of that may just be a lack of assumption regarding the expectations and minimums of a device in the market, but its things like this that can change purchase interest.

@hbk12fan yeah once you go into the Zune software settings, you can tell it to monitor any folders you want for any content you want - music, videos, pictures, even podcasts. These folders will be updated automatically in the software as you add and remove content. Or you could choose to manually manage what content goes on your Zune and essentially just drag and drop (like GermanSoccer618 said)

lol. my new ipod touch 4g 32 gb is wayy better than this crap. I bought one of these over the summer and it crashed because it is utterly retarded. I took it back, saved my money and bought a nice new ipod. much happier person. The ipod has 2 cameras, a nice retina display and a sleek background with craploads of apps. the zune? 8 apps. wow. (Oh btw, ive had 3 zunes crash on me. :/ dont buy one)
