The color of your shirt is dependent on the job you have on the deck. For example, the guys in the red shirts are the one who handle armaments. You'd have to get the other colors from someone who knows where to look or whom to ask.

All you have to do is be an offical U.S. citizen, and meet the Navy's officer requirements and aviator requirements. Then take your self to the recruiter :)

I recommend OCS if you don't make the academy. If you have a criminal record, they will laugh at you and shred your app. Clean medical records, no broken bones, and then if you pass the PRT, they may spark an interest. The drop out rate for a pilot is 80%, but your not guarenteed to fly the jet you want. You'll probably fly the JSF since their replacing the Legacy hornets. (I'm a PC at VFA-122 at NAS Lemoore so comment if you need help)

1. you're mexican which means you're poor as hell.

2. you need to be an officer in the Navy. You can not afford to go to the Navy Academy. (See 1).

@RAPTORSKIP dont listen to the troll. of course u will need to have 4 years of collage to have a shot at becoming a pilot but under your circumstance u will need to have to enlist first because i take it that you're too old to go nrotc (scholarship option). so u will need to enlist for a few years and if u show good leadership u can try and apply for OCS. the process takes a long time but its well worth it :) (also take a look into the marines pilot system. its kick-ass)
