the reason why ratchet has a different voice is because the original voice actor of ratchet from the first game left insomniac games. The new voice actor (James Arnold Taylor) was actually the friend of the first voice actor so that sort of makes since. i guess

@hockeater yeah i agree with you, the opening of this game was epic and i loved mining those waste land thingy's like moonstones and the first R&C had like a nice exciting experience and deadlocket had the kinda action from all games put together and U.Y.A had the "Return to the solana galaxy and save shit" feel to it... their all pretty fucking "THE BREAST"... Why do u dislike ratchet deadlocked so much? Yea it was different then the other r&c games but I find it to be really fun. The weapons mod feature made the game unique and added a creative aspect to the game.

Actually, at my opinion this is the most different game in the Ratchet & Clank series because of how "not very comical" this game is. And also this is the game that pretty much changes the series forever due to how it is the first Ratchet & Clank game where you can upgrade your weapons, your armor and you don't have to pay 30,000 bolts to upgrade your health like in the first one, you can just kill a bunch of enemies.

@chaffXgrenade I like it to, sure the story is not the best and it has things that I don't like, the fact that clank is not part of the gameplay. But the action and weapon custom is relly good. If one don't take the game so serious and just have fun whith it, it is a good game. To be honest I relly don't like the hacker device in Ratchet & Clank 3, it is just enoying and slow down the flow of the game, Deadlocked never do that. It is like a party/spin off type of game in a way

@TheXLink I mostly like Deadlocked simply 'cause you just blew stuff up. I don't really mind if the story is a little lacking (R&C isn't best known for well-written storylines). Also, I HATED the Hacker. That was one thing I hated about 3. :P

I personally think 2 is the best. It added most of the new gameplay elements they use today (upgrading weapons & health, armor, etc.), and it all just seemed to work perfectly together. Unfortunately, I sold the game a year or two ago (big mistake).
