@JunkHornet What? I think it depends on what medium you are reading,but Raph has probably been the 1 or 2 top favorites. In the movies, Raph outshined everyone. In the old toon, he was second favorite behind Mikey. In the new toon, second favorite behind Leo. Comics, he was the most favorite it seemed, or just behind Mikey. Donny seemed to be the odd Turtle out.

Raphael is so awesome I think he was awesome in every show and TMNT movie and he's my favorite turtle of them all and he always tries to do the right thing and even though he doesn't have the leadership Leonardo has but he makes up for it with his determination to do anything it takes to save a life and he will always be my number favorite turtle and I also like him cause he's not afraid anything and he's probley the most toughest turtle of the group and always will be

If I made a Free-Roam Ninja Turtles game I would try to have the four turtles have both personality's from the 80's series and the 2k3 series. take Raphael for example, He would be both funny, AND tough. raphel personally differently has changed over the years. Though I have to admit it is kind of interesting to see how it all started.

I consider this the "Spiderman" version and the 2003 Cartoon has the "Wolverine" Raphael. I actually like both. US Censors were a little more hardcore when I was a kid. All of the turtles were "hardcore" in the comics, but this cartoon was probably the most influential, in terms of setting the INDIVIDUAL personalities/positions for each turtle.

@Doop3r Yea, that's why I said US censors were more hardcore when I was a kid (when this version came out). Everything had to be toned down when put on Sat mornings, bck when Sat mornings were an "event".. I actually prefer the tone of season ONE [first 5 episodes] of the 1988 show more than any other version. Very conscious effort to make the tone more upbeat: season 2 & beyond. Unnecessarily so, IMO.
