I disagree too. I think given the fact that Ann Wilson has some of the strongest female vocals to EVER hit rock music, that Fergie did very well holding her own vocally. Now, I think she spend too much time trying to upstage Ann by trying to be sexy which was distracting to the music itself. But when Ann, Fergie and Nancy were all up there together and Fergie laid her head on Nancy's shoulder, that was kind of hot.

I still can't believe they let her do that circus act with Ann, or Nancy. OMG! The female version of Led Zepplin just had to bang their heads on that one. Fergie is far from being any where near as good as those two are. IMO!

OK, so Fergie can actually hit the notes, and do back-flips. So what? Ann Wilson doesn't just hit the notes - she smokes. There's a huge difference between and adequate singer and a great singer.

Fergie has Ann's old voice. It almost identical to the original recording. Ann has not fared well with attempt to lose weight. She tried the lap band. I think that her weight is holding her voice back. I love both Ann and her sister Nancy.

I honestly expected Fergie to COMPLETELY f*** this song up... HOWEVER- SHE ROCKED IT! Ann was still amazing as EVER, but Fergie was GREAT, too! I MUCH prefer this side of Fergie to her nasally singing in "Big Girls Don't Cry." She did wonderfully. Ann's vocals are in GREAT shape for how much time has passed since this song was released. This performance was one of the best of the night.

I guess I'm just not a fan of hers at all. I think she's average at best, and the cartwheels were just silly too imo. Plus, I can't stand anyone singing through their nose. EEK!

I agree with the nasally singing bit, but she wasn't extremely nasal here. I love Fergie when she isn't singing that way. For instance, here, or in "Shut Up", "Pump it" or any other Peas performances. Anyway, I like her songs, but I really despise "Big Girls Don't Cry."

I actually hate most of Fergie's music because I remember how she used to sing before Black Eyed Peas. She can wail like nobodies business and she spends most of her time doing weird hip hop stuff. This performance is the best I've heard her in a long time.

Nice performance except for Fergie's theatrics. She sounded good, but overdid it with the cartwheels and writhing around. She should have tried to blend in with Heart a little better and let the singing make the performance. Nice pants, though!

Fergie was like a monkey in the wrench, if you ask me. She tried hard to sing over the top of Ann Wilson, but just didn't cut the mustard. The circus act was cute, but she isn't and will never be in the same league with Ann, or Nancy Wilson! She was simply thrown in there for eye candy purposes only.
