Personally, even to this day I say that FF7 IS the best game ever made. The new FF story, music, and even gameplay isn't as good as FF7> I remember i spent like 15 minute in the menu just setting up my materials and I loved reading the dialogues rather than bad Voice overs. Sigh.. good old days.

@shadyhennessy Actually in an interview Square said they would LOVE to re make this. But they said it would have to take them only a year to develop, if it were to take the same graphical design from FFXIII it would take 3-4 times longer then the development of FFXIII, which already took 3 years, so if they were to make it, it wouldn't be done for many many years, which means it can happen, one day, I'm just worried they would ruin it by adding shitty extra's and a new battle system.

BUT now, when i watch the movie FFIV: Advent Children, i was like WOW and i decided to play FFVII again and finish the game. There is a book made by Square called something like Final Fantasy VII Ultimate and it gives extra info on the game and all those times you see Sephiroth is Jenova making itself look like Sephiroth. Hence, why you usually fight a Jenova part when Sephiroth dissapears and stuff. The only time you see the real Sephiroth is in the flashback and when you fight him at the end.

No. The Ultimania(not Ultimate) says that Sephiroth was using Jenova's corpse as an avatar to his consciousness. So technically, Sephiroth himself made Jenova's body look like his own

How come people always say Aerith didn't deserve to die?? Sephiroth was trying to use black meteor to destroy the world. Aerith wanted to summon holy to stop him. Sephiroth says "fuck that" and chops her in the guts. She was standing in his way so she got moved. It's not like he just up and said "Hey I'm gonna kill the cute girl with the bow in her hair." He did what he had to do. The only thing that made it evil was how he smiled at Cloud because he knew 'he'd done it now'.
