i really don't care what book its supposedly paying homage to. I wrote a paper on Existentialism once and Camus was included in it, however, more attention was given to Jean Paul Sartre and as a result I can't remember Camus from the others.....
And with that said, Existentialism is all about the freedom to choose and live ones life however one chooses to do so. This song does not particularly exemplify that idea. In my personal opinion it seems to do the opposite. It seems to be saying that we have ZERO freedom in this world to choose our own existence. Sure, I may be way off in thinking that. I am not a philosopher. I just like music.
