question.. is the story the same on the ps2 and wii version and what about the graphics. which is better ?

PS2 version is the more superior one, in my opinion. However, it is more of a pain to find. The Wii version would be much easier to find. Even though the resolution on the PS2 version is lower, it had this parchment effect to make it look like as if you were part of a painting. The controls are also good. Controlling the brush with analog sticks felt more precise than using the Wii mote. Wii controls had too much waggle to them.

I haven't finished okami. But so far the game is just as good as Twilight Princess. I LOVE TP.!!!!!!AND OKAMI!!!!!!!!!!

I love this game, played it on the wii. Its a lot of fun plus the story line is very interesting. And I agree, the artwork is very beautiful. i would definitely recommend it. :)

this game actually looks real good. like Wind Waker/Twilight Princess/Phantom Hourglass (drawing on screen aspect) with Japanese art overhaul. I love how the wolf runs!

Can someone explian me a little about this game i'm thinkin of getting it but i don't know if i like it or not.

(I played Legend of Zelda twilght princess and stopped in the middle cuse it use to frustrating

But in other hand I loved Shadow of the colosus)

They made the game look bad in this Wii trailer, but its an AWESOME game, I never get tired of beating it. (although, I think the Japanese version has better fighting)

@shinocicada I know this is two years ago but I wanted to put it up here for people to see.

If you are going to buy Okami buy it for the PS2, in my opinion the graphics are better since the colours are more subtle and easy on the eyes whereas the Wii is a bit in your face and look like it was done by fisher price.

Also the way you play it is so much easier on the PS2, to attack you press a button, on the wii you break your wrist doing it and lines go wobbly.

Okami and Okamiden ftw!! PS2 4eva!

If it weren't for IGN this paper shader business would not be an issue at all. Its negligible and overshadowed by the privelige of actually having the game come to Wii for those, such as myself, who never had a PS2.
