  • @cokedlr lets see you see hit it that far

  • anybody see where it landed?

  • he acts really childish in the minors, like still trying to mature as a human being, and remember this is being hit with a aluminum bat.

  • high school ball is so fun

  • was he a freshman or sophmore?

  • Haha the ball still hasn't landed

  • where did that go?

  • I remember playing against him that year and the next, I was like no fucking way is he a freshman but nonetheless the kid is a class act and it was an honor to play against someone as great as him, goodluck to the nationals and his career

  • he is a giant freshman

  • hèy_áNýøñÉ_wÀnNá_chåt_wÍth_mè_Ì_féel_sò_lòñÈlÿ_tÔdäÿ♥

  • these players are big

  • Did anyone see where that ball landed?

  • what a terrible route in the outfield at 0:28

  • @KittyKittySunshine hahah i know i was just thinkin about that. lol

  • the right fielder cant read a ball worth shit. he was moving in and the ball sailed right over him

  • that was off the end too dag

  • graceful sweet spot

  • @TH31TRUEGANGSTER nope still in orbit haha

  • @11wiffleballking Not collage i dont think dude

  • all you haters are just sitting your fat asses on the couch while this kid is out their doing work and hitting bombs, get a life

  • hey look my old school... xD i've played on that feild xD i feel special. bryce harper in fact isnt

  • wow a whole 300 feet. how impressive

  • @lacore1988 hater alert

  • @lacore1988 i would bet money that you could never hit even a

    70mph fastball for a homerun

  • @emericaskater76 LOL LOL you know 70mph is lower than the average HIGHSCHOOL fastball? , in that park i'd ding a 70mph curveball .... lol 70mph, and a FASTBALL? hahaha, you fail at knowing anything about baseball.

  • @lacore1988 haha thats why im saying i would bet money that YOU

couldnt hit a 70 mph fastball for a homerun. its the bare minimum of highschool pitching and im sure that YOU personally probly couldnt hit the worst highschool fastball anywhere close to where he that ball.

my splitter breaks at more then then 82! and thats the slowest pitch I throw!

WOW you are literally to stupid to insault

  • @emericaskater76 HAHAHA so you automaticcaly generalize my skills by saying i personally cant hit the worst of highschool pitchers, and then expect me to believe you throw a 82 split , for strikes, in a game hahahah OK MR Jose Contreras you faggot i also could say i have a AAA fastball and big league slider if i could consecutively throw them for strikes , in a game . YOu half witted Skater fags stick to skate boarding hippee stoner fag

  • @lacore1988 12 year olds are throwing 70 haha

  • @cdawg1113 haha i know that , its the other dude thats an idiot not me

  • @lacore1988 i was agreeing with you. Tell that guy to watch little league in hd tonight so hee can see they are throwing 72

  • lol thatll be homerun number 16458531245

  • @charliescigar your a clown are you possibly someone thats jealous your not as good as he is....... your a keyborad warrior you clown

  • Anybody knows what kind of Demarini he uses?

  • @cullen17whitephenom Demarini Vodoo it looks like.

  • @ChemicaVision i see now as soon as the video starts, pause it and you can see it...its a clear shot

  • @cullen17whitephenom its the 2008 demarini voodoo

  • @charliescigar did he claim to be a warrior? Did he say he was a fighter in the middle east in some shithole dying? I must have missed something.

  • he hit that off the end

  • bryan and bryce played in high school together and now college

  • @charliescigar what are you talking about, you know what eyeblack does right you clown

  • that kid has tons of talent but the only problem is he knows it lol. he's cocky for a 17 year old and loves all the attention he gets. hopefully he matures otherwise he'll never be as good as he thinks he will be.

  • can he hit the ball the other way?

  • @cvivi2011 oh hell yeah.haha.

  • @cvivi2011 Yes.

  • if u look really close u can see the ball bounce up by the trees ahah

  • What Demarini bat does he use

  • @xNICKx813 he uses the 2008 demerini voodoo.. very nice bat

  • anyone else hear the guy say "see ya, wouldnt wanna be ya?" lol

  • it's not his muscle, it's his bat speed. look at chase utley. he's on of the smaller guys yet still hits for crazy power. its all in the speed of your bat, not the muscle behind it

  • @thnikkkaman you're one of the guys who actually knows what hes talkin about

  • @thnikkkaman i agree but strenght helps stronger u are faster the bat can be swung and u need stron legs to open up and explode with ur hips

  • @billybobnook i explode with my hips very well

  • @thnikkkaman I'm sorry, but did you just say Chase Utley is one of the smaller guys in the MLB? Riiiiiight.....

  • @thnikkkaman exactly.

  • only thing metal is better 4 is sweet spot

  • shut up yea u do

  • actually you do. you dont need as much as you do with wood but its harder than you think

  • @crispycob nobody can understand you vato

  • you dont need to type like that. its not cool like u think it is.

  • Ya son son "The English language stop destroying it"...lol comedy

  • Check out the route the right fielder makes when bryce hits it over his head @ :25 .The guy stops in short right as if it was a "can o corn" then takes a terrible angle then stops again when he realizes hes an idiot cause that ball was long gone, not that he would have had a chance of robing it anyway, but a ball hit like that you gotta turn and sprint your ass off to get to the wall, not that it would have made a difference any way cause that was no wall scraper. Nice route Magellen!

  • haha thats what i was thinking

  • Son son u need to calm down .u ever chilled while u been chillin? Son ain't no thang to worry bout just chill aight? Big harp-machine hitting on da video aight son! Do chill da best player in da nation wit dat metal bat so chill aight?

  • @crispycob I get you Crispy! According to your logic-bomb, I just have to paint my face like a warrior princess (SHE-RA) and wait for the 4 strikes you're out rule change, at which point I'll inject 'roids through my Aflac jersey while locked in a Waffle House bathroom, whereupon I'll emerge from the little boys room A MAN! A MAN that can play piano better than Air Jordan? And the key is to goto the Waffle House featuring Barry workin' the OrangeJuicer? K! "Boost me Barry! Juice-on-top-o-Juice!"

  • guys he most likely won't use roids ok stop saying he going to because he deffentlly good enough without them ok

  • amazing, now try it without roids

  • he hax

  • I cant wait to see this kid on roids! 700ft bombs? possibly!

  • does he use a voodoo

  • ya, 2008 voodoo! but by now hes probly moved on to wood

  • yep

  • east cobb is way sick at baseball........and this kid mad a huge mistake in leaving high school the

  • yeah. he did. too young. im a year older than him. for being the best he couldnt hit my slow inside pitch. and vegas cant even make it to state

  • They definitely made it to state and lost to Gorman the 4 time state champion in Nevada....tool

  • 0-5 at AFLAC this year against the nation's best pitching with 3 K's. I think he made a mistake by leaving school but we'll see.

  • me too

  • Comment removed

  • East Cobb owns any1. especially the astros. ther 13u team won the 14u state tourney... but i dont even live in georgia i live in missouri i play for one of the top programs in the midwest called the st. louis gamers

  • the st.louis gamers are legit.... i cant wait to play you guys this up coming year.

  • haha yeah, but if u play for mac n sietz ur probly a tad bit better.. well c tho :)

  • Haha east Cobb. You guys kicked our ass in CABA and we were 19th in the nation. I still went 2 for 3 with a broken hip so that's a little embarrassing for you...

  • The reason hitters "hit a wall" in the majors is because of pitching. When they are new to the league, none of the mlb pitchers have any knowledge about their swings. Once they get a book on them, it's pretty much over unless they are super talented. (Look at Emilio Bonafacio's numbers this season abd you'll see what I'm talking about.

  • its funny how ppl question Bryce. every great hitter says tht u eventualy hit a wall once u get to the majors. it jus matters how u over come it an get better. I hope tht the kid has an amazing career. He's busted his a** he deserves it.

  • yet another pitcher learning his lesson not to throw the a cookie down the middle of the plate to bryce fn harper.... looks like the nationals got themselves another good prospect coming soon

  • its not even fair to have weak ass pitchers ptich 80 to this guy.

  • has he ever played at East Cobb in GA. thats were i play its the #1 program in the nation

  • yes, he has last summer i was there for my bro's tourney and i saw him hit a couple out. He was playing on the san diego stars i think

  • wanna cookie?

  • I played in East Cobb u on the Astros or what

  • what age do you play

  • how fast do the pitchers even pitch to Harper like 75 MPH once he goes to the MLB he wont be as good.

  • do u even play in high school? where im from its mostly mid to high 80s

  • the kid still hits homers with wooden bats.. metal or wooden hes gonna hit em.. he plays in many wooden bat leagues as it is so hes got his stuff down.. just lackin the experience.. you see a ton of talent and potential when you see him play but he still needs experience..

  • This kid is insane.

no one will talk about Stephen Strasburg as the most amazing first draft pick as soon as this kid hits it. I just graduated high school and i cant believe his amazing talent. I honestly think he could be thrown in double a ball and compete right now.

But my only negative statement is this kid has got to be on the juice come onnnnnn.

  • I can guarantee you strasburg will be in the big leagues in less years than this kid, no matter how good you are it will take about 2-3 years as a position player to make it to the big leagues and about 2-3 to completely be succesful as a superstar thats if this even happens. It took upton 2 years to get to the big leagues and 2 years already hes doing good now but it will be another year or 2 more for him to be known as a superstar like he was supposed to be.

  • Check the stats in Arizona Community college for HR you will see there are less homeruns hit because we used wood bats not pussy aluminum bats. The top Homerun hitters average about 10 in a season with they would have 20- to more

  • faster bad speed means the ball will travel farther.

  • fuck yweah

  • playerk123 are you a fucking idiot bob gibson and sandy koufax played in the same time as mantle and both of them mid 90s so that just shows how fucking stupid you are

  • I have played baseball since I was 6. And play college baseball in virginia. Aluminum bats really dont add much to a ball. These homerun distances being thrown out are ridiculous lol. The derby was last night the furthest homerun 501ft. And these guys are muscling up and swingin harder than normal. You must be the one whose never played ball

  • yea it is he hit a home run that was 570 ft when he was a freshman

  • No one hit a 600ft HR ever and your stupid if you think so. back in Mickeys day the hardest pitcher probably threw 90mph if that. And the hitters were no where near as strong and athletic as they are today. the mickey homerun is a myth and if pujols hit a 600 footer in college why hasnt he done it now that he is even better. Dont say aluminium cause all that does is improve bat speed from weight ratio and it has improved sweet spot. they add about 30-40ft TOPS. Harper is a fucking beast

  • dude have you ever played baseball before? 30 to 40 feet my ass if you gave pujols a metal bat right now, you wouldnt be finding that ball anytime soon

  • You are right about the aluminum bats. They dont add as much distance as you'd think, only bat speed and the ball jumps off the bat faster. And to boots9491, I play for my high school team in the spring with aluminum and another team in the summer with wood so yes, I've played with both. About Mickey Mantle, pitchers did throw in the 90's then. Mickey hit the facade on top of the right field stands. And Pujols was drafted in the 16th round in a time everyone wanted power so I doubt 600 ft.

  • jeremybloom1115

Pujols would have been drafted in the 1st round if he hadn't been walked 55 times his senior year. And he hit 22 home runs for Maple Woods JC before people started pitching around him there.

  • Are you on crack they don't add much distance? When i played with wood I have to muscle up more to hit homeruns with a metal bat i can do a half ass swing and hit it out like nothing. If you play baseball as you say you do know that with a metal bat you can hit a long homerun of the tip of the bat or when you get jammed, what happens with a wood bat little grounder to the pitcher because of a broken bat.

  • I'm talking about the sweet spot. Metal bats definately hit farther on every other part of the bat but on the sweet spot, there isn't much difference.

  • Well yeah but how many times do you actually hit the sweet spot everytime you hit??? thats why there are so many homeruns in high school, university, and Jucco colleges that use aluminum. This kid has amazing talent but we will see when he goes to the minors with wood bat on his hands. As to aluminum bats universities, and jucco coleges that use aluminum should use wood bats cause after that thats all they are going to be using.

  • mickie mantle hit over 600 ft

  • Ur a dumbass u probably don't play baseball at virginia u probably are some eight year old cry baby trying to be cool 30-40ft try more like 100-150ft and 90mphh back in mikeys day he was faceing some of the best pitching

  • Id say some of you need to do some research into baseball history... Mantle, Ruth, Koufax, etc. are considered to be legends for a reason... Mantle still has the fastest clocked time to first base ever... Meaning--those "strong guys" and "more athletic" players of today still arent faster... So much for bein stupid because you know a little about baseball history... ;)

  • Comment removed

  • By the way... Mickey Mantle did hit an estimated 650 ft blast on 5/22/63... Only ball that came close to being hit out of yankee stadium... Would of, but it hit a column at the top of the right field rafters... Longest record homerun ever...

  • wat the fuck ur a retard no one has!

  • Does anyone have footage of the 570ft Homerun?

  • bryce harper in sports illustrated hit one 550 it sed

  • For you guys that dont really think he can hit 570ft home runs. Albert Pujols hit like 600 ft bombs back in highschool and college. Amazing Hitters can do amazing things.

  • shut up douche, pujols didnt hit 600ft homeruns.

  • hey may hit monster homers but joe mauer was way better at his age. mauer only struck out once in high school and it was on a horse shit call by the ump

  • no way man Bryce is sick!

  • Oh... So that's where that ball that hit my house came from...

  • good one lmao

  • His back foot comes off the ground because all of his energy and power is going into the baseball. If his back foot stayed on the ground, most likely his weight would never transfer therefore he would be most backside with no power and a huge upper cut.

  • played against him in nor cal travel ball

he didnt do to well against us

    but thats baseball for ya

    but he is a monster

  • a kid i play with pitched against him n he only went 1-4

  • Did he strike out? and if he didn't I have a question has this guy ever struck out?

  • everybody strikes out, im a pitcher and im 16 and i'd love to face this kid. i topped out at 87 at the perfect game

  • This guy is a beast. Whoever says he's on steroids is crazy. If you look at him he's not even big enough for you to even consider that he's on the juice. He hits those monster home runs because his bat speed is over 100 mph.

  • woah a bat speed of 100 mph. Thats insane!!!

  • its not a bat speed of 100. thats his exit speed. how hard the ball comes off the bat. its kinda like how hard you throw except instead of throwing it measures how hard the ball comes off the bat

  • 1st off i agree with you that i don't think he is juicing he has the build of a monster. however just because you are on roids doesnt mean you have to arnold big, look at manny(faggot) he isnt ripped he looks normal.

  • so effortless. take notes

  • he'll be another Tyler Houston

  • Lol, na.

  • even though u hit 500 foot homeruns if u would keep your back foot down more you could hit even farther there is always room for improvement

  • i know the right fielder made it seem like he was goin to catch it! it was friggen bomb tho

  • this kid is great i mean he clocks a 96 hit a 517 ft homerun

  • no its 570 feet hahaha hes a MONSTER

  • Alright hes a beast but there is no way he hit it 570 feet. I don't think that has ever been done in the majors. You see maybe one a year that goes over 500. He did hit one 502 though.

  • the sports illustrated that came out said 570

  • dude he really did

look him up on google and sportscenter

  • nope, he absolutely did, not this one, but it was at some field in Arizona.

  • MICKY MANTLE HIT ONE 635FT

  • No way man, not 635 thats impossible. Thats a bullshit rumor. But mantle might have hit one like 560. As for Harper, if he did hit one 570, then he really is god.

  • he hit it 570 with metal but its still beastly

  • i meant have not seen so much raw talent

  • dude TheArcher6999 we didn't say he wasn't talented i have seen so much just straight up raw talent ever that i can remember but the media puts pressure on people, i mean look at Roger Marris when he was about to break Babe Ruth's record he was under so much stress his hair was falling out. I just pray the media doesn't do that to this poor kid because that would be a sad thing to see them ruin him.

  • I don't think it will, he seems like a very stable kid.

From the local newspaper here in Vegas: "'I love the pressure, he said. 'Thats why you play the game, to be in pressure situations. If you dont want pressure, you shouldnt be playing.'"

  • yes he has a very, very good looking swings i mean yes some flaws but no swing is perfect. The closest to perfect swing would probably be Ted Williams and it would be a sight too see someone as good as he was.

  • ya youre right but bryces swing doesnt look normal but when you break down the mechanics hes pretty close from perfection

  • and he keeps his head down looking at the ball while going through the strike zone.

  • lol man where the fuck was the right fielder going ha

  • THATS MY BASEBALL FIELD LOL and my school and i was at that game sweet

  • dude the fence is only 330!

  • i personaly think he jumps at the ball way to much....dont get me wrong he has a sweet swing but a softer, shorter stride would do him good...plus the catching thing might mess with his knees

  • i kinda agree.but what helps him is his follow through and his finish,i think.

he just comes through the ball with ridiculous amount of speed and finishes strong every time.

  • true....he never cheats himself...pitcher makes a mistake and he takes it over the fence...

  • cant wait untill he goes in mlb

  • i would hit this kid over the fence.

  • i wouldn't want to pitch to him..

  • read the sports illustrated article that came out a couple weeks ago...he plays in leagues with wooden bats, plays on college level teams, all kinds of baseball camps...this kid is baseball. what is high school gonna offer him that baseball cant? how many of you are doing what you love. this is what he was born to do. keep the naysaying and the jinxes for espn...you people dont qualify.

  • I dont get it...he only hit 3 home runs in high school his soph year. Ive seen guys hit 12 HRs in better leagues. Must be the hype of Las Vegas. I wish the kid the best of luck but looks like tons of hype to me.

  • most of his numbers come from extra tournament play...one tournament 12 for 12 with 11 homers and a double so the kids legit

  • People were saying the same thing about Lebron when he went pro straight out of HS and that seemed to work out just fine for him. It's his life and so what if he drops out of HS early to sign for a few million. That's more than most people will ever make in their lives WITH a college education. Get off it people and stop being so damn jealous of his unbelievable talent!!!

  • Injury is going to fuck this kid . then what does he have to fall back on. But hopefully he stays healthy it will be fun to watch him.

  • i don't think he should rush it. I mean every year of experience he has will benefit him. I don't think the wood bat thing or the major league pitching is too awfully big of a deal, i mean that is what the minor leagues are for. The only thing is if he can keep his mind set because that might be difficult with all of this attention, it is even for the older players in their twenties.
