  • If you put a little copper grease on the end of your bolts next time you want to take them off you shouldn't have this trouble, hope this helps....

  • Just put the wrench on the lug nut with the handle on the ground in front of the wheel and drive ahead.

  • Had that problem with an agricultural trailer. The bolts were a massive 37mm, we had to borrow a set of huge sockets with a wrench and a big pipe. It only came off after me and my brother both jumped on the end of the pipe.

  • i think you broke the bolt

  • I totally thought the truck was going to drive forward with the bar on the ground from the thumbnail pict!! now that i think about it. that might work. however a breakerbar and a quik jolt is my fav technique when over torqued . I find that the slower i remove the bolt the more the chance of breaking the bolt or nut whatever.

  • hahaha i like the idea but probably you will brake the bar before nuts will get lose :D

  • I never thought of doing anything like this... Id be afraid it would just snap the stud. I usually just get my torches out and heat the lug nut up till it is cherry red then try unloosening it. Normally works for me.

  • If your forced to take lugs off that way, they were tightened down way to tight!!! You especially have to watch out of shops that just Air gun them tight without even a torque bar. I hand tighten my wheels with a Torque Wrench. It's amazing how I can take them off by hand.

If your wheels aren't tightened correctly, you can in fact warp your brake rotors.

If you step on your brakes and the steering wheel starts to shake, that's the problem.

  • @JBDragon1 That could be one problem why you might have warped brakes but there are a multitude of things that can take place that would/could warp your brakes.

if your brakes are hot and you wash your car and spray cold water on them that can warp them.

if your brakes are cold and you get on the highway and have to slam your brakes on cold then that can also warp them. lots of ways.

  • did tht snap or did the wrench just fall off

  • Clever!

  • just use a cheater pipe/bar...

  • My method is called Snap-On "Thunder Gun"

  • USAUHSHUSAHUSAHUHUASUHSAHUSAUH Those americans make me laught...

  • @higormeisterlol we make you what?

  • @HexagramMan laugh*

  • @higormeisterlol lol your silly, you big silly goose!

  • Didn't that just brake?

  • nice

  • No thats how to break a stubborn wheel nut.

  • Wow, that is actually pretty awesome

  • You sir are creative!

  • '

use a long pipe and push up

  • smart.

  • another way is to get a long breaker bar and just pull forward a little

  • finally, a way for girls to change tires.

  • Excellent!! Thanks for the video!!

  • This guys smart, that was pretty creative and it worked really well. Dont call him dumb call the moron that torqued that nut to hell before him dumb.

  • you wont see me doing that with my snap on breaker bar XD

  • i'ts me or it's kinda dangerous ? ... xD

  • I like your thinking. Bloody good idea that! :)

  • Thats actually pretty stupid, flying wrenchs' is never too good or you could just simply bend the wrench.

If you dont have an impact wrench put torque on the bolt with the normal wrench then hit it with a hammer. Works like a charm.

  • @heyitstheo47 If your so fucking good at removing bolts why are you looking at this video?

  • @nunga000 Hahahahahaha. Good one.

  • @heyitstheo47 ur mums a-hole works like a charm

  • @ilikebeer hahahaha So fucking funny dude i can't stop laughing, you're a fucking genius.

  • Who the hell did them up so tight in the first place? King Kong? Chuck Norris?

  • cheater pipe works good

  • Lug bolts are still a stupid idea. It's always easier to remove a frozen nut than to extract a frozen (sheared off by now) bolt.

  • this range rover has studs on the hub, not the style of the volkswagon and benz, and they shouldnt be torque to 120 to 140 ft/pounds, they should only be torqued to 100 ft/lb

  • @93Roadkill LAND ROVER NOT RANGE ROVER.. SO BOLTS NOT NUTS... Why are there so many smart arses on Youtube?

  • @daveylc Wow I finally met a pussy! Congrats sir! :D

  • @daveylc then why the fuck would you say its a rangerover in the description smart arse

  • @daveylc

Bla bla bla, they say whatever they want cause they won't get punched in the face on youtube

  • smart very smart lol

  • Your video saved me a lot of headaches with a stubborn caliper bolt that no hammer or tool could loose. I was about ready to give up and I tried your technique and it worked like a charm!! Thank you very much!

  • smart! hey u gotta do what u gotta do.

  • damn pussies need a jack stop being so fuckin lazy ppl

  • @chevydiesel350015 Eat a dick cunt

  • @nunga000 go get ass raped then eat shit and die bitch

  • 9 people don't know how to use a jack

  • A (LUG) NUT screws onto a stud/lug, this car does not have studs/lugs.

  • I dont know what this robby844 is talking about, I've worked at a auto parts store for 12 years and they are called lug nuts. You can google (or any other search engine of your choice) it all day long and they are called lug nuts.

  • @mrboomer555 Maybe this idiot robby844 is talking about the wheel STUD which some people call bolts ( which is wrong) for its not even the part being talked about. I can see how some people get all upset when they try to talk their way out of their own ass ( robby844) Call your local parts store and ask for a wheel bolt lmfao

  • @mrboomer555 You may just not pay any attention to this video, this dumbass in here by the name robby844 is all mixed up and he will keep replying to your comments making him look like the right one

  • @fordwindsor351 because i am right? or maybe cuyz you're wrong and wont admit it?

  • @mrboomer555 wow your how old? i dont need to ask for one because i have 5 of them right here on my desk.

  • @mrboomer555 whatever asshole.then why do both LR and RR have the same shit.you probably work at napa and thats a sad excuse for an auto parts store.

  • Is everyone seriously arguing about whether or not this model has wheel bolts or nuts? Just for the record its a Range Rover (not Land Rover) and it has wheel BOLTS, you know the things with a hexagonal head and a threaded shaft.

  • @daveylc well that puts a whole different look on it, robby844 been saying it was a land rover which they didnt have wheel bolts (unless it was an aftermarket item), which was my whole arguement with the kid. Thanks for mentioning its a range rover and not a land rover.

  • @fordwindsor351 wow you two queers like to have violent buttsecks with each other.

  • @daveylc thats what ive been saying.and yes LR's do come with wheel bolts.

  • @daveylc Range Rover has wheel NUTS. Check from google "wheel nut" and "wheel bolt". Which on looks more familiar compared to Range Rover? If it has wheel bolts, then someone has replaced wheel hubs.

  • @mcmaddie thank you mcmaddie, I tried to say the same thing and robby844 basically called me a liar. Actualy, after doing some looking through the web, it seems that even the DOT has an issue with the WHEEL BOLTS

  • look whos crying now you puss.you sit there and bitch worse than my fiancée when shes wrong

  • @robby844 Im laughing at you for you failed, they are called lug nuts, kepp cry and making these silly comments, my time here is done for I owned you in this conversation. Your future comments no matter how silly they are will be ignored. Thanks for the laughs (whispering saying they are called lug nuts )lol Im out oh in case you are that dumb to remember, I will ignore all your future post.

  • @fordwindsor351 you owned me? i proved you wrong on every comment you have sent me.everyone is laughing at you not me.they are called wheel bolts on this model of LR.nice try making yourself feel smarter tho.come back when you graduate middle school son and grow some hair on your balls

  • @robby844 You should hear her when Im fucking her, all I ask of her is to not call me your name. Just remember those lips that you kiss have been on my cock

  • @fordwindsor351 HAHAHAHA wow how fucking childish is that?

  • @robby844 seems that you have been pointed out being wrong as dave said its a range rover not a land rover which you been saying the whole time.

  • @mrboomer555 wish you would of kept your mouth shut, now he will be in here running his useless mouth.

  • @fordwindsor351 as you would say LMAO

  • @mrboomer555 wow really asshole.then why do they have the same fucking shit on both of them.now your gonna tell me that they are 2 different companies right?

  • dont cry too much robby844, you will get dehydrated, you failed again

  • @fordwindsor351 how did i fail when your dickhead ass cant even send a link to a persons page? oh wait i forgot i ummm how did you say it.oh yeah.......i disabled the ability for people to leave comments.

  • @ robby844, you might want to check your headlight fluid, they are known to leak and your muffler belt needs to be replace every 50,000 miles lol

  • robby844 is one of the biggest cry babies I have ever seen

  • @fordwindsor351 crybaby because i proved your nigger ass wrong?

  • @robby844 no, you didnt, so for this I am waiting for more of your complaints

  • @fordwindsor351 so your whole fagoty argument over that they are nuts and you insisting they are is not proof enough? prove me wrong or your full of shit.

  • @robby844 well the person who has this video has it set up to not post links for there are many that call them lug nuts but go ahead and keep crying, hell, just call what ever parts store you want to and they will tell you the same

  • @robby844 cry baby cry, thats all you are doing for you failed. Why dont you go try your luck with someone that doesnt know nothing in the automobile world.

  • @fordwindsor351 like you asshole you know nothing about nothing.just stick to what you know NOTHING.wow how fucking reatrded is that excuse ? "well the person who has this video has it set up to not post links" wow you have no idea how to even post a link on youtube.thats sad.just like you dont know that you need to change the water in your tires every 150 miles.

  • @robby844 the link was sent to your page dummy

  • @robby844 there, just approve my comment on your page and copt and paste the link

  • Dont worry people about this robby844, he is just a young person trying to impress some with his words. Looking at his comments, its obvious that he wouldnt stand up to no one in real life but online, he is the biggest mother fucker you have ever met, lol. Just try to enjoy his words and for some, they are very funny. Youtube is full of his kind.

  • @fordwindsor351 wow really asshole cuz i knocked one of you assholes out just today and yes we were fighting over a landrover.he said nuts i said bolts and i went to my truck got a jack and my airgun took off the bolt and beat the fuck out of him with it.learn your fucking shit.btw your diaper smells you need to tell mommy to change it

  • @fordwindsor351 you are just like that outlawz fagot saying that he takes his shit off with a drill.what kind of bullshit is that? why dont you get on his case about his bs? or maybe your just a pussy like he is.

  • see people its people like outlawz that make the human race feel as dumb as they do.i proved him wrong on several accounts and he just ran away like a pussy.couldnt even try and prove me wrong.

  • @robby844

No im just tired of replying when you think you know everything... Its a waste of time...

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ awwwwwww sorry asshole trying to prove you wrong when you insist your right.

  • When i put on or take off the wheels on my car i always use my DeWalt Impact drill...

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ bullshit.

  • @robby844

    How is that BS....

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ dewalt impact drill? what kind of bullshit is that? how are you gonna get over 100 foot pounds out of an impact drill?

  • Comment removed

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ an impact drill? wow are you full of shit, maybe your dickhead ass doesnt know what the fuck hes talking about.ive never in my 21 years on this pathetic earth seen ANY pit crew use a dewalt drill to do ANY work on cars.

  • dewalt.com/tools/hammerdrills--hammers-hammerdrills-dwd520k.aspx

  • @robby844

Not the Hammer Drill you retard. Impact and Hammer Drill are two totally drifferent drills.

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ so then find it on the website and prove me wrong asshole.you know nothing.

  • Comment removed

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ no im not the asshole.YOU yes YOU started it by saying your "impact drill" can take cars rims off.especially a dewalt.dewalt is junk and made in mexico

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ the link i just posted is the bullshit you have been spewing from your asshole.

  • Comment removed

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ really? i fail your the dickhead saying "impact drill".the more you say the more you look like a fucktard.just admit your wrong and say you have no idea what you are talking about.do you maybe mean just ever so slightly mean "electric impact wrench'? is that what you meant to say.even if it is you are still wrong because pits crews NEVER use electric ones for ANYTHING.

  • @robby844

Oh this is getting old. Im done, your more stubborn than the wheel bolt on this video, im not going to reply anymore, your a waste of my time. If you reply your just admitting you want my dick... Nuff said. think before you reply..

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ no your not going to reply because you know you are full of shit and cant find an "impact drill" on the website.find it to prove me wrong dipshit.or just run away like the pussy you are.you shouldnt have even commented on this vid.should have just sat on your ass and played forza.cuz you know once you play that you know EVERYTHING about cars.

  • @robby844 You are the one full of shit and you are runningoff at the mouth to try to make it look like you are the right one, you fail at every comment you posts, its ok though, many people are stuck on stupid as in yourself and please, wipe your mouth again for you missed some of your bullshit. I am going to start wearing boots in here for robby844's shit is getting to be too much.

  • @fordwindsor351 really i have said no bullshit here? a LR uses bolts to hold the wheels on.you might wanna a bit of research before you tell people they are saying bullshit.cuz right now people are laughing at YOU not me.

  • Owner it too fawking fail to use a cheater bar.

  • that tire still has 1 month tred on it SPUNK BAG!!!!

  • @kanebhoy3 and u know this how

  • I thought you were going to drive forward. That would have worked too. :P

  • BEST, IDEA, EVER!

  • i would like to see if reversing it would work lol

  • i did that with a scissor jack to get a stubborn bolt on my car's suspension loose.

  • One Thing.

Havent You heard about an impact wrench?

  • @pipproductions1 Yes..

The wheels had been done up with a 450 lb/ft truck gun, this is why they were so tight... The guy whos car it was had limited tools at his house.

  • @daveylc please tell these people that they are BOLTS not NUTS

  • @robby844 In case you dont know, which it seems that way, nuts are the objects that turn on the bolt/s.

  • @fordwindsor351 in case you didnt notice on cars they are called studs and lugnuts.on LR's they are wheel bolts.get it right shithead

  • @daveylc who the hell tightens them that much they only need to be torqued to about 120 to 140 ft pounds of torque

  • @pipproductions1 ya you would need an air compressor to have an impact or buy an expensive electric one. Everyone dosent just have an impact gun

  • after atching this and knowing how tools react to either loosing or breakin, id say this right here broke, if it didnt the tool would not of had the reaction shown.

  • @mrboomer555 no it didnt break because some one was there as I was told lol

  • @mrboomer555 The broken bolt must have miraculously re-joined its self back together allowing me to re-use it. Amazing stuff!

  • Brilliant idea... last time I had to loosen my car's wheel nuts I ended up jumping repeatedly on the end of the wrench :)

  • I dont care what size he said they are, it clearly broke off and if they were the size of 27 mm, the lu nut would of been seen.

  • @fordwindsor351 You can clearly see its a Range Rover.. Range rovers have 27mm bolts... And yes they did all come undone and NONE of them snapped.. How do I know? Because it was me doing it.

  • @daveylc nothing was said that it wasnt a range rover. I just said about the size (27mm) being that the lug nut would been seen after the tool dropped not to mention when yu play it frame by frame, you can see the broken lug nut fall with a small piece of the bolt still in it.

  • @fordwindsor351 You are seeing things.

  • @fordwindsor351 bud thats not broke get some glasses DUMBASS

  • @protectoroffaith nice try for a slam for you are like 3 months late shit for brains

  • @fordwindsor351 its not a lug nut now is it?

  • @robby844 wipe your mouth for there is still some bullshit on the side

  • @fordwindsor351 you have never seen a LR in your fucked up pathetic life have you? with what you just said you just proved me right

  • Just get a impact gun :O?

  • yeah wheel nuts can be like that hard as hell great idea duded

  • Thanks this was very helpful

  • this is nice, thanks !

  • Or just drive forward

  • WINNNNNN!!!!!!!

  • thumbs up

  • Rubber mallet works good too. As for using heat it expands metal duh.

  • Some penetration oil and hammer tapping could have helped here. The pressure of the jack isn't a terrible idea if you don't have a air tool but if a nut is rusted or stuck, you have to shock it off or it will simply sheer the stud.

  • lmao dumasses!

  • Wtf dude...you have no room.. this was a great idea...

  • looks like you kinda broke the bolt with the nut.

  • next video will be how to remove snapped wheel bolt !!!!

  • i know three feet of cheater bar would do the job, but we get the idea

  • kinda stupid.

heat and maybe wax are the best.

  • attach it to a extension bar.

  • put it on and drive abit lol

  • guess he never heard of a tourch and air tools

  • look like he broke it off

  • I just kick it off

  • Dude thats hella smart

  • don't use a cheater bar for extra leverage the solution would be to get a longer wrench

  • Yeah the axle nuts are VERY liable to break just as easily as the rusted lug nut is liable to come off like that. It's best to use a tiny amount of Vaseline on the lug threads.

Besides that, if you're going to use the jack method, it would be best to introduce a shock effect on the lug by hitting the socket with a hammer to loosen the grip of the rust.

  • remember safety glasses eh

  • a few years ago, i had a big Ford van with a flat tire, I couldn't break the lug nuts loose, I called a wrecker company, with the extra help, the lug nug refused to budge, I had it towed to an auto repair shop with a big air compressor...we finally got it off and I only spent $75.00 hahahahaha, I suspect some tire jockey put the lugs on with an air wrench....I mean that lug nut was stubborn...sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do..hahahaha

  • its actually caused by rust between the back of the rim and the face of the hub expanding and pushing the rim ( and therefore the wheel nuts ) tight against the threads making the nuts even tighter ( and it doesn't always happen evenly so it may only be a few nut ) or some bastard tightened the fuck out of em

  • ya got ripped off

  • dude thats amazing

  • I've broken bolts right off just using my hands. I can't imagine what a jack would do.

  • why not just take the extended handle from the floor jack and put it on the end of the lug wrench for leverage? and it takes minimal arm pressure and its faster than jacking. just a hint. that's all

  • Two of us stood on the breaker bar, I doubt adding an extra foot to it would have helped ;)

  • its actualy about 21/2 to 3 feet ofleverage

    from the floor jack handle.

but its cool, you got the job done and thats what matters.

  • it's true what he says

needed to put another tyre on a trailer of a tractor, the bolts where on there for about 15-20 years i think so they where stuck as hell.

used a hollow (but strong) bar of 2 meters to put on the lug wrench, still hard but it worked :-)

this is also a nice way to try if you don't have a bar close, never would have tought about it :D

  • retarded looks like a nice way to wreck your axle nuts

  • Great idea, love it :)

  • ausome......idea

  • haha thats what I did

  • No doubt, but I have personal reservations about O/A torches near my aluminum rims.

  • If you don't melt the wheel or tire. The best way to remove bolts is impact. Sustained torque breaks bolts, but a impact like impact guns breaks the rust. I use a mallet and solid 1 piece wrench.

  • Next video: how to remove a broken bolt hahahaha

  • its broke Ha, ha, ha,ha DUMBASS!!!! LOL..

  • None of the bolts broke.
