@lisaKDL, just for your info., a large no. of SEALS have advanced degrees. In addition to this the ASVAB score required to get into BUD/S is no joke! So, in response to your comment that "the Navy will take anyone" yeah that's probably true...but one thing I know for sure, is that the SEALS will not take just anyone! Stick that in your pipe and smoke it college gryl!!!
No joke been doing this for almost two weeks and the results are amazing, started slow, more break between sets (or reps in my case), but completed all reps. This does work, stay committed. BTW I am not running or swimming with this program, yet in my case my results are incredible. instead of starting the morning with a bowl, start it with this. MUCH BETTER.
this is what happens when you drop out of high school. the military, especially the Navy will take ANYONE. stay in school, get a COLLEGE degree, and get a real career.
@lisaKDL jajajaja, im a college drop out. you know why i dropped out? because college is full of shit. just because you attend college, it doesnt make you smart lmao. get your own education, there are no real teachers these days. college dropouts have always been the most succesful people in the world.
i do this in my sleep... and then i wake up and realize that this is too intense for me at my current physical fitness level. damn u seals with ur badassness
I own this entire tape on DVD. Do this twice a week, I usually do mondays and thursdays, and you'll be blown away at your progress. Definitely worth buying.
there's a difference between buff and physically fit. buff people can lift large amounts of weight for short periods of time. in the instance of these seals, they are subjected to constant bodyweight exercises giving them immense muscle endurance, as well as strength with muscles that most bodybuilders tend to overlook. these include areas of the lower back, as well as others. if you can find a bodybuilder that can do this workout, i'd be amazed.
id just hit the gym or weight room if i wanted to be physically fit. Ive done PT and it sucks. you barely get any excersise and ive seen guys twice as buff in the gym as any of these seals will be.
@rogman1000 this isnt to get bigger, its to train your body to perform in real life situations...when do you think you'll need to lift 500 pounds off your chest outside of the gym
@rogman1000 let's see you say that to a SEAL and see what happens, i think you would change your mind real damn quick if you went through what the go through at buds training.
@Fearlessmoto hey man just gotta say MMA training is just a tough or even TOUGHER than SEAL training. They only different is that you dont have to sing those silly little cadences
@GoFarForParkour Wow you are a true idiot. Any one with a working mind and eyes to see, and the ability to read and reason will find that Bin Laden has been dead for years. Never mind the coincidence that Obama Bin Biden "killed" Bin Laden a week after the white house released a photoshopped birth certificate. Nor the fact that he was killed on the 2nd highest luciferian holiday and shot in the left eye. This is all ritual symbolism. ST6 also had 23 members die in heli crash?! Cover up...
@Cyc1on3 You have nothing to offer to the contrary so you either can't read or are absolutely useless. One can learn how to read, but ignorance is forever.
iam 13 years old and i dream that i will be a navy seal but i am realy lazy how would the best way for me to workout and it is worth taking a pe gcse for the navy sealys please can some one reply with good info for me
@ashbash76 Well for starters stop being lazy. That's nobody's fault but yours and it won't get you anywhere in life. I don't know where your interests lie but if your into video games and tv, STOP IT. Force yourself to get out and do hard things. Seek out challenges and don't take the easy route every time you need to do something. I would recommend talking to a personal trainer of sorts. Let them know your goals and they might have some good info for you as far as a workout routine.
@ashbash76 do demanding sports for starters. part of being a SEAL is mental toughness. I'm in NROTC right now, trying to become a Marine officer and I can tell you that I definitely regret not being allowed to do sports in high school. you have to enjoy misery by exercise if you're an aspiring SEAL. sports will not only force you to get in shape and take good care of your body but they'll teach you important life skills and values. I'd do swimming, running, cross-country, track, calisthenics.
but for the people who wanna test yourselves and try to make it. DO NOT work out by aiming for the minimum pst requirements. . aim for at least 120 pushups. 120 sittups 20 pullups. and try to get as comfortable as possible in doing that many.. it'll definitely pay off when going through bud/s.
goodluck for the people who wanna test themselves by being a seal.............or trying to be lolol :D
i been doing these for a while.. about a month now. 3 times a day without fail
but.. after about 2, 3 weeks i found the push and pull exercises to easy.. soo i upped it a bit.
for each workout session. i do the push and pull exercises twice. but the second time i double up. i do 6 pullups instead of 3, and 20 pushups instead of 10... and for triceps i felt incomplete doing 7 soo i do 10 first set then 20 second. also added 2 sets of wides... got a SO contract and i leave early june !!
@for3dollaz What are your max scores? A buddy of mine is currently in the dive phase of BUDS. His PST was 14 pullups, 99 pushups, 97 situps, 8:49 run, 8:30 swim. He had a hard time in phase 1 but passed. Are you using Stew Smith's book to prepare?
@ffryan no im not using Stew Smith's book. just basically doubled the requirements so i wouldnt have any problems. and alot of random stuff. i went to a park. a regular kids park and used that for upper body strength. monkey bars helped alot. as well as reverse pushups which is like pullups laying down pulling up on sumthing. main focus is to get used better at carrying and manipulating your own body weight . pst was : [21 pullups] [108 pushups] [103 situps] [8:29 run] [8:15 swim]
@for3dollaz Those are competitive numbers. How often are you running? Is your body prepared to run about 10 miles a day? Remember that at BUDS you run everywhere you go. Marcus Luttrell said that his class ran 6 miles a day, just to chow hall and back. On top of all the running on the beach, morning PT, etc. Or am I preaching to the choir?
@ffryan i run every other day. and i just got to running 9 miles. 4.5 mile sets. run when i wake up and run before i sleep. and then a nice long hot shower to help my muscles . its tough but i have to do it. and then i would swim the next day. till i get tired. i dont really pay attention to how far im going there. in the end it all comes down to how bad do you want to be a seal. and honestly the pst test is s**t if you are maxed out wit the pst. req. then think twice at what your trying to do!
@for3dollaz Sounds pretty good. Do you do many of these runs in boots? Just remember not to train for the PST. Train for BUDS. If you are prepared for the PST you may not necessarily be prepared for BUDS. But if you prepare for BUDS then you'll be prepared for the PST.
I've always found it beneficial to know exactly how far I'm going and my times. It's hard to improve if you don't know what is required of you to improve. Try timing at least one of your daily runs. Keep up the good work
@jarv This where your entire life of multi-cultural conditioning and brainwashing come to an end. Even though you'll see none of these guys on a box of cereal because they are white, they make up the overwhelming majority of tri-athlete special ops operators. Even the olympics shows us that this is the case. Almost every event you see whites, including swimming, weight lifting, shooting, martial arts, boxing... which =spec ops! Even the runners over 100 are all white! Yes olympians aged to 100!
@DanSVT03 It means, "Navy Seals are the best. Even better than tier 1. They do black magic ops shit... Like they is almost better than marines! BUD/s is toughest training on earth 'cuZ their unbiased cadre says so estupidez. I know every about seals 'cuz I never served as one, but I watch movies and read wikipedia, so I write comments on youtube."
I would run and cry like a female if I saw navy seals coming for me.... Its not even fair how much more skill they have over everyone else. If there ever were super hereos Navy Seals have my vote!!!
Can anyone give me a training programme to follow on after this? I've been doing this workout for 8 weeks, 3 times a week, and I'm looking to progress into something more difficult, cheers :)
@britishbeefdaf If you're looking for more Navy Seal workouts I highly recommend the book "The Complete Guide to Navy Seal Fitness" by Stew Smith. Its a twelve week program, and after you've finished that you should check out Stew's year long workout book "Maximum Fitness : The Complete Guide to Navy SEAL Cross Training". sealgrinderpt com is a great website to check out as well as a new workout is posted everyday. Good luck on your pursuit toward a more physically active lifestyle.
Yes. Add a whole exercise routine in. At least that's what I do. When I workout, I focus more on repetition than on weight. Stamina is a lot better in the far run than the weight. Just make sure to do push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, running and swimming. It's good to get a head start on something. Work hard now and it will pay off later.
Anyone know the normal finishing time for this in it's entirety? I'm in great shape at the moment and looking to change things up with a high intense circuit like this. Anyone whose in the same boat let me know how long an in shape person should shoot to finish this in (or if just finishing it alone is good enough).
Also, should this type of workout be regimented in alongside a weight routine? I know cardio is recommended a few times per week, and this is meant to be done twice a week AT MOST, but there's little shoulder and bicep work in this and neglecting shoulders especially is dangerous.
It takes 48 minutes total to finish this complete routine. It's probably recommended to finish with these elite warriors first. I don't know about doing it as fast as you can because this work out is about technique. Better the technique, better the muscle gain and/or stamina.
Wow, the uniforms look so gay...how about the instructor shorts....hee hee...Here's a tip for the makers...less narration..more close ups of the students butts...thanks!
yor name is chuck charle deecus? LOL. so when you were at boot camp did yor RDCs call you DEECUS all the time? HAHAHA seaman DEECUS. petty officer DEECUS. chief DEECUS. seaman recruit DEECUS. HAHAHAHAHA
@mrfrosty8172 Yes, they run 1.2 miles each way to the chow hall, 3 times per day. So as you can see, the miles start adding up fast. And that's just running to the chow hall! Nevermind a 4 or mabye even a 10 mile conditioning run... Plus this kind of PT. That's crazy!
I remember when I was at regular boot camp back in 1987, and if we fu**ed up, we'd get sent to "marching party". It was run by Navy Seals, and they kicked our ass for 1 1/2 hours of constant PT. There were guys in our company that were almost in tears.
i've been doing this for a couple weeks now, twice a week. However, not at the same intensity as the sailors seen in this video. I try my best and im definitely noticing changes. I haven't done any running cuz my body is to exhausted. these guys are hard.
So how many push/pull-ups, crunches/sit-ups, and how much running and swimming is done at BUD/S on any average day??? I think I can do these workouts at a high level but would like some comparison. If a SEAL or former SEAL would please reply!!
OK, I've been doing this program twice a week for a couple of weeks now. Exhausting to keep up with them, but great challenge trying to. My question is; HOW COME THEY DON'T BREAK A SWEAT DURING THE WHOLE THING?!
I leave a small pool of sweat doing this in my room but they're doing it in the sun and not a drop? W.T.F -.-
@heero7yui that's prolly cause they are used to it AND i'm sure it is windy while they r doing it cause i see their shirts being blown pretty danm hard lol

DanSVT03 9 months ago
@DanSVT03 It means, "Navy Seals are the best. Even better than tier 1. They do black magic ops shit... Like they is almost better than marines! BUD/s is toughest training on earth 'cuZ their unbiased cadre says so estupidez. I know every about seals 'cuz I never served as one, but I watch movies and read wikipedia, so I write comments on youtube."

Can anyone give me a training programme to follow on after this? I've been doing this workout for 8 weeks, 3 times a week, and I'm looking to progress into something more difficult, cheers :)
britishbeefdaf 11 months ago
@britishbeefdaf If you're looking for more Navy Seal workouts I highly recommend the book "The Complete Guide to Navy Seal Fitness" by Stew Smith. Its a twelve week program, and after you've finished that you should check out Stew's year long workout book "Maximum Fitness : The Complete Guide to Navy SEAL Cross Training". sealgrinderpt com is a great website to check out as well as a new workout is posted everyday. Good luck on your pursuit toward a more physically active lifestyle.

fsxaviator 10 months ago
Yes. Add a whole exercise routine in. At least that's what I do. When I workout, I focus more on repetition than on weight. Stamina is a lot better in the far run than the weight. Just make sure to do push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, running and swimming. It's good to get a head start on something. Work hard now and it will pay off later.
cswolfy 11 months ago
Yeah, no problem. Slow and steady for now, but once you get to BUD/S there's no stopping there.
Hooyah!
cswolfy 11 months ago
@cswolfy Is it smart to add another day of muscle training, maybe doing a shoulders/biceps day? Sticking with the push/pull pattern.
Coltraine100 11 months ago
Anyone know the normal finishing time for this in it's entirety? I'm in great shape at the moment and looking to change things up with a high intense circuit like this. Anyone whose in the same boat let me know how long an in shape person should shoot to finish this in (or if just finishing it alone is good enough).
Coltraine100 11 months ago
Also, should this type of workout be regimented in alongside a weight routine? I know cardio is recommended a few times per week, and this is meant to be done twice a week AT MOST, but there's little shoulder and bicep work in this and neglecting shoulders especially is dangerous.
Coltraine100 11 months ago
@Coltraine100
It takes 48 minutes total to finish this complete routine. It's probably recommended to finish with these elite warriors first. I don't know about doing it as fast as you can because this work out is about technique. Better the technique, better the muscle gain and/or stamina.
cswolfy 11 months ago
@cswolfy Thanks! Yeah, slow and steady is the way to go for sure.

@ImToMMyXD 3 rep pullups become awfully tough after you've done numerous sets of wide, regular, closed, and behind the back pullups.

says that these PT sessions are done after running all F'n day
they said running just back and forth from barracks to get something to eat each week racks up over 30miles
mrfrosty8172 1 year ago
