  • This is pure religion. I can't believe how ignorant this is. Who in the hell are lawyers to decide what it means to be a human being? They are deciding questions that neuroscientists, theoretical physicists and philosophers can't answer, and are doing so because their pronouncements "must be believed to be true" otherwise there would be no accountability. This "lie" that they insist must be believed becomes the religion of the State. The "evil" soul must be punished!

  • @UndefendableDefender thats contradictory. Most actions have intentions behind them.

  • @UndefendableDefender no intention is very important there is either the objective (ordinary reasonable man) or subjective (what defendent was thinking) if you look at serious crimes such as murder and manslaughter the mens rea is the most important factor because the actus reas is the same as a person is killed. However if a person intended with malice aforethought to kill then its murder. However for involuntary manslaughter they only need to see a risk of some harm.
