You'll need to reset your counter which caused the printer to stop printing, use the Epson utility epson support - inkpad youtube wont let me post the link here....
It's free, unfortunately it's a pc based reset..... I noticed posts elsewhere saying to use the reset sellers on Ebay... Don't spend a dime on these epson is free.
I agree this Aritsan 800 sucks, it burns through ink like no other hence my soaked ink pad! and the paper exit tray broke in a month.....

do I just rinse out the black ink ? Then let it dry? Or just re-attach the plastic nozzle? Can you please advise or clear this up for me/us? Can replacement pads be purchased somewhere? Also do you know anything about the ink refills CISS systems? If so - please recommend ... I'm a widow with 2 kids on strict budget - thanks for saving my printer ... kids get dinner tonight :)
@kwallace17 none of them, instead of using something else, y use a epson r290 printer, i find one day ink al under the printer and the problems were the peds, so i throw them away, and put an empty bottle of water, with a small hole to receive the wasted ink, you shoud do it to, its easier, cheap and fast, plus 1 liter of wasted ink will take u to collect it at least 1 o 2 years, let me know if you need help
where do you find that epson reset program online for free?
please
thanks

@Rui The white "cotton like" material are the actual pads. There is a link in the description that points to pictures of the waste ink pads.

Great video. Any ideas for what to use for a new pad? Can they be purchased? Maybe just use tampons or cut sponges?
