The American film censorship panel decided that it would be 'inappropriate material' for a family movie. True!

Ever notice that they altered the colors of Superman's costume during the time that he was supposedly the "Evil Superman"? Instead of a bright red and blue, it was more of a dark colored red. Ironic that in Superman Returns they actually used these same "Evil Superman" colors for Superman's new costume. If you do a Google search you'll see what I mean.

I know that in smallville they say clark can't get drunk but because alcohol affects your brain superman can technically get drunk. I used to think the same thing when I was a kid watching this. That this does not make sense but now that I know and read everything about superman it actually does make sense that he can get drunk.
