  • The Holy City

  • ANyone interested in visiting Chas. just remember that it is an old city on a peninsula so the streets are narrow and in the past 20 years traffic has becone VERY crowded with so many visitors and college students. Parking is a nightmare but if you can find a spot you sould walk around. Just remember, don't walk off the street into someone's house just because they leave the door open. or look into people's windows You would be surprised how often that happens here.

  • The way to see Charleston is by foot or by bicycle. Drive around and you'll miss everything. This video at least gives you the impression that there's a lot here to investigate.

  • nice view of the battery and waterfront park

  • Im moving there next week

  • Is Charleston a walkable city? I'm interested in towns where I can walk to anywhere I want go.....work, beach, shopping, etc. Charleston seems really pretty!!

  • Love this vid ...being from canada...this really seems so southern...very beautiful...wanna visit someday !

  • Still a confederate beauty

  • Wow, thank you so much for this video. I really want to move there by next year, and I have been coming to Youtube to see if I can find some good videos of what it's like, and yours is perfect! You did a beach drive and everything. The only thing I had to do was turn down your music and put on my own, lol. I listened to "Tattoed on my Mind" by D'sound, while watching your vid.

  • did you ever move? im thinking about doing the same

  • Oh Yes! LOVE,LOVE,LOVE CHARLESTON! I was there in August and yes, it is hot, but can't wait to spend a week there in Sept. Hope to make a yearly pilgrimage. My mom was born there and we spent a lot of time as children there.

  • Hey justcf23.... you will find alot of "Southern Hospitality" in Charleston! Charleston is THE capital of Deep South. Being from South Carolina, I can tell you just about anywere you go, you are going to be treated great in The Palmetto State.

  • Forget Charleston - I'm jazzed about "Miles...from India". Just heard a spot on "The World", loved what I heard and had to search out more. Looking forward to my payday purchase. Please post more clips w/ tracks - beautiful stuff!

  • I am from Iowa, and thought I'd check out some towns. This is a beautiful city. How do you like it? Are the people nice?

  • Very beautiful downtown city.....plus nice beaches and lots of lowcountry splendor....

  • Charleston is very much over rates despite it's pretty coble stone old style streets and classic sence it's really a crummy area . This is near the harbour where all the rich people live . It's nice if you have the money to spend on 4 dollar beers and 6 dollar shots at the bar and if you can afford 1500 dollars for a bedroom studio and can tolerate the constant police sirens because of all the shooting in the near by ghetto aka "eastside"

  • charleston is to good for where ever you live in the middle east like montana probably or some trailer park

  • I have been there three times I think. It is very nice, laid back and the people are very friendly. A lot of history if you like history. Sorry, I don't live there.

  • I live in Charleston. Love this place. What is the music playing?

  • Excerpts from a project I produced called "Miles...from India". The music of Miles Davis with Indian and MD alum involved. What you are hearing up front is Dave Liebman and Pete Cosey with some Indian cats
