if you pause at 8 secs the man in the pink top was recording iv got that footage i would put it on here but dont no how lol its of an old holland crash tape
Continuing from what i said (only allowed 500 characters per post) There have been lots of other big crashes but the only 2 that come near it in most peoples eyes are the Mark Marchent one in '02 which i saw and the exploding citreon in '95 at Warneton...there is video footage somewhere, tracking it down is the hard part
Well people that went to swaffam when TSR owned it will have seen better like the earthshaker meeting in 1999 with the epic wrecking train. or the follow in on shane brown what one of the stinkbridge done at the bradford euroblitz in 97.
You can still ask any hardcore banger fan/ old one (i know quite a few) and they will say that this is the biggest, mainly down to the sheer pace of the crash. Top Gear were filming that day and got it from another angle which shows the full extent of what really happened, the fuel tank was on his head when they got to him. I'm not denying that the Earthshaker '99 train/pile up and the Euro '97 crashes were small in any way, i'm just saying that this is what most people call the biggest crash.
if u pause the video from 51 seconds to 54 u can see the chassis is the weak part and it aint shit welding as the h frame or wotever it is /cage etc did its job
and stopped the car from folding into a nice enuf package for it to fit into me pocket
That happens when you have baked hard summer banking. I have seen stock cars bend badly at the old braintree 15f banking and well built bangers just snap big time. only a few banked tracks left now most tracks use armco i guess its just safer!!
THis was !6 years ago, this is my unclee, he got out ok but didnt go to hospital but in the end hee did and he had broken nose and colla bone.
