  • See how Troubly this people are. Who is to be blemed here? It's the constitution of the Iraq. it's the constitution dividing the people of Iraqi.

  • Under the pretext that he was an Uncle Tom Arab working for the British who was also a Jew-loving traitor, Sunni Muslims in Iraq conspired, and then successfully had him and his family butchered. Without Ghazi's protection, pretty soon Iraq's Jewish community was forced to flee. Now look at Sunni Iraqis suffer. Ain't karma just a bitch? Well, store's closing, time to go.

  • Under Ottoman rule, Shia and Sunni muslims were equally worthless to Turkish eyes, however, no sooner did the British, or rather, Lawrence of Arabia with the help of Beduin, help to overthrow the Ottomans, that Sunni Muslims were clammoring to take power. The reason King Ghazi, a Hashemite royal and I believe relative of Jordan's King Abdullah, and soon to be King Ali (of all names...) was murdered, was because he wanted equal rights for both Sunnis and Shias.

  • Despite the split between Sunnis and Shias in Iraq, the Sunnis sought to establish their rule with an Iron fist the moment Turkish rule was overthrown. Although the Turks were themselves Sunni Muslims, they were no friends to the Arabs, and still aren't. To put it not so politely; while Turkish men were dying and bleeding in battle, the Arabs were in lavish palaces fucking their women. Consequently, the Turks created the Ottoman Empire.

  • While the division of Islam did not cause the immediate decline of the Arab era of the Muslim empire, it did sow seeds for its downfall; while North African and Spanish Muslims did not convert to Shia Islam, the events surrounding Ali's death DID make them status conscious to put it mildly. Pretty soon, the subjects of the Muslim empire began resenting the grotesque wealth disparity imposed upon them by Ishmaelite rulers, who sometimes didn't even fight in wars at all.

  • The rest of the Islamic world did not follow suit, largely because the ruling class Arabs beyond the borders of the near east in North Africa did not treat the lower classes as cruelly. Consequently, Shia Islam became the staple of Persia and what is now modern Iraq, while the rest of the largely Arabic speaking Muslim empire became Sunni.

  • The Karaites were ruthlessly persecuted and now, that sect of Islam is barely not even a country club its so small. What followed Ali's murder, was the division between upper and lower class semites; the Ishmaelite ruling classes would go on to be Sunni, while the lower working classes would go on to be Shia, seeing an opportunity to remain Muslim, but separate themselves from the Arabs, the Persians converted to Shia Islam for political convenience.

  • Now, let me make it clear; the Ishmaelite semites had nothing to do with Ali's murder, HOWEVER, they DELIBERATELY did nothing to protect him, which to the eyes of the lower class semites, was the same thing as approval. Lower class semitic muslims, found Ali's body with a scimitar buried into his skull length wise, that is the reason modern Shia muslims cut their foreheads, to mourn the brutal way he was murdered.

  • This popularity gravely worried the other Ishmaelite descended upper class semites, however they refused to do anything out of fear of mass rioting if they killed him. However, a sect known as Karaite Islam, which holds that a true Imam should know both the whole of the Koran and the Hadith, of which Ali only knew one I believe (the Koran), and only siad Imam was fit to rule, had no such fear. Because they saw Ali as a threat, they scimitared him over the head.

  • You fuckheads don't know anything; while Iraq has historically had a majority semitic population, during the early days of Islam it was in fact INVADED by southern semites, namely Arabs claiming descent from Ishmael. Said Arabs established themselves as the highest class in Iraq, which led to bitter division. Imam Ali, an Ishmaelite high class Muslim, did not treat the "lower semites" like crap, hence he was popular.

  • AJIN TACHAT AJIN!!!.

This WAR is the result of the brainless actions of the corrupt arabs called "Muslims"(muslims only by name). DON'T fight against ur brother, fight against ur ENEMY, this doesn't mean with the gun i mean fight with ur elegant Strategy without gun!. But I'm sure that day will come.... I mean the day, of PAYDAY!!!.

    AJIN TACHAT AJIN!!!.

  • If we are not brothers in faith we are equals in humanity. This division btwn Sunni and Shia has gone to far. We are brothers, not enemies. We must focus on our substantial similarities rather than isolated differences. Together we can build a better Muslim world, built on tolerance, education, and respect.

  • Habibi, It has nothing to do w/religion. I ached like you for a decade hoping to find ways of reconciliation between them. The fact is that ppl. LOOK for differences so they can assume power and rule. In the end we worship one god. As it was in the beginning. In between? Is a lot of room for the devil to get in and manuever. And as they say-the devil is in the details. I respect your sentiments though. And maybe the new can accomplish what the older generations could not.

    peace.

  • As a sympathetic outsider, I agree completely. Imperial powers have always used the tactic of "divide and conquer" to control nations they occupy. Take a look at Britain's imperial history in places like India. I believe the Americans are using a similar tactic in Iraq.

  • ???

    aptly chosen name =D

  • ...It is such a shame so many humans are being needlessly being killed...It is even more disheartening to see fitna among Muslims...No matter the circumstance...

  • George Bush should be hanged for war crimes too

  • I never really appreciated the seperation of church & state untill the middle east became a problem. Amazing how human beings can use religion as a factor in killing each other, truly amazing.

  • America kills more people all over the world than anyone else now. So much for seperation of church and state preventing violence.

  • ...It would be hard to say church and state are separated...

  • And you think this started in the Middle East and with Islam? Catholicism has left a nasty legacy on the world.

  • Hey, I Watch this just this morning in TV.
