@TheBRAIINZ Actually there's alot in the books that aren't mentioned in the games, that's kinda bad, but there's 7x information more in the books than in the games, Linda 058 was frozen Linda's body after her death when he took her to the cyro facilities, then the Pillar of Autumn was shot down by Convenant and Linda's cyro was forcibly ejected, she floated above Halo for days, when Cortana detected her (when they're in the Longsword) and pick her. Due to the extent of her injuries, she was left frozen until certified medical staff was available. She stayed on the Ascendant Justice until Dr. Halsey was rescued from Reach along with Frederic-104 and the survivors of his team. Dr. Halsey revived Linda aboard the UNSC Gettysburg. So another thing really important games dont even mention

Now I think everyone thought that John is the last spartan alive but in fact he and Kelly-087, Linda-058, Fred-104, and others are alive in Earth last time you saw Halo 3

There is additional proof as in CE:Anniversary you go back and on the blue picture of the spartan, it has what is clearly a woman in MJOLNIR armour and she has the name "Linda-058" printed above.

I think shes in Halo 4 because 343i said that Anniversary would be full of hints and tips for Halo 4..

i remember in the book it was kelly who was put into a cryo tube because if she wasnt she wasing going to die, but i also remember she was releashed from the cryo after halo 1 and before halo 2 so this couldnt be right (and also they were the only 2 spartans on the ship)

@USMattD Wrong, just because Linda isn't a chief, doesn't make her not a spartan. As a matter of fact, all Spartans (Linda included) were given high ranks, most being made to some kind of officer. Linda was more than a "friend of the chief". Also both escaped, Chief was just brought out before the ship went down, Linda's pod was ejected into space and picked up in First Strike. During said book, Chief and the survivors highjack a covie ship and return to Reach and pick up the other Spartans.

. Linda-058 on the other hand was shot while opening the gate to let a pelican with master cheif and marines out but master cheif brought back the body back to the pillar of autumn and put in to a cryo tube encase she she still could be saved when they get to the next planet...

@ExZamplGaming Next planet being, ironically, Reach :) Correction: The Spartans didn't ALL die, Kurt-051 (Kurt Ambrose) went MIA (Genuinely but was believed dead) and abducted by Ackerson to lead the Spartan III project, Fred (Was it?) lead the Spartans to the ground, as you said, a few Spartans survived with a Colonel (?) and several others went into CASTLE base with Halsey and found the timespace crystal thing.

If you have read the book 'Halo:The Fall of Reach' like i did you will find out that all the remaining spartans were sent to reach except three master cheif and two others who were sent to destroy the computers on the ship 'the circumference' which had data on it that would lead the covenant to earth. All the spartans on reach were killed and one was killed at the docking station that the circumference was at. Read next comment for rest:)

if uv read the books it tells that linda was badly wounded and put inna cryo tube and it is ejected b4 keys crashes. in First Strike chief finds her tube drifting in space near the broken halo. so this could be her as they were the only spartains on board at the time.

Jun and Halsey left Noble team and went towards castle base at the end of The Package mission in Reach... after that they wind up on a shield world and I think Jun dies on the Shield world... but im not too sure.

@gamerfourm217 Actually if you read Halo: First Strike (I forgot which book), John found a cryotube out in space where the Halo array was destroyed. He brought the tube inside the Longsword and found out it was actually Linda inside, intact.

Unless, you knew this, then okay nevermind.
