Nearly all of the people we've met on the red carpet there were there because they are song writers.

If a song crosses over the genre boundaries (yes, I'm making this up conceptually for purpose of illustration), it will get pop recognition. To me, that is the way it appears to be.

Ditto dude. I "heart" AIC and Jerry Cantrell and I cannot wait for their new album. Even though Layne is in a much better place, he must be very proud of Jerry, Mike and Sean to continue creating such awesome music with a new singer, William DuVall (He's pretty good, but no where nearly as amazing as Layne was).
