Is there even any Amiga hardware still being made that can run this? Nobody's stepped in to take over since the AmigaOne disappeared.
As much as I hate to say this, having owned several Amigas, OS 4.0 seems like an answer to a question asked over ten years ago that we're just now getting the answer to. And unfortunately, barely anyone's still around to hear it.
And it's a real shame. There's something reassuring about an OS that's neat, petite and sweet.

Yes. ACube Systems sells an embedded motherboard called Sam440ep that can run OS 4.1.

hmm i thought that os 4.1 only works on A1.

They changed that. It now works on more boards, such as the BlizzardPPC accelerator card for standard 68k Amigas, and the SAM440EP, a board you can actually buy. :)

Amiga OS 4.1 looks really cool if only i had a powerpc accelerator card in my miggy?hopefully 1 day i will :)
