can someone help me here,when my seeds have cracked open and the white tip sprouts out,should i put them under under a propgator with lights 16 on 8 off ? all suggestions appreciated thanks

@1984LizardKing, Don't put them under direct light. If your growing with lights put a piece of plastic over them (like a mini herb greenhouse your mum buy's for the kitchen) and put a piece of cheesecloth or semi transparent cloth over it. When there nice and green with a leaf of two you can remove the cloth. If your growing outdoor put them in a lightly shaded spot until they go green.

@Helghastl33t i ended up putting them under a plastic dish in the cupboard,then when they were pushing up through the rockwool i just put them under a light,a 600w sodium light that is...lol.bit risky but i kept a fan blowing in,not directly onto the plants and kept the light 4 feet away.started lowering it now,they havent fried so think keeping it 4 feet away was cool.thanks for the suggestions anyway :)

My only guess is the reason why the plants turned out to be a halfway fail is because either the EC of the nutrients and the PH of the water in the reservoire was unbalanced, or because the watt of the light was maybe a 1000 watt and it was too close, not close enough to burn but close enough to stress the shape of the plants.. but it is weed for all you kids that don't know.. i'm 17 and I been growing for 5 years, and I seen different strains and I know the effect nutrients has on strains

thats right ...the buds dont start comin out till the flowering stage and even then it doesnt sometime show bud until 2-4th week of flowering. also to the guyz sayn that clones arent good to use....start studyn...cuz clones have the exact same genetic structure as the mother plant and will produce about the same harvest as the mother plant....so they save time and can be more reliable (if you know the mommy plant)...but seeds are good too...just time consuming
