  • Excellent video :) It is interesting to see how similar the Marshall Street dojo, Karateka and Karate in the 70's is, when compared to nowadays.

    Karate practice would have been good now as 30 years ago.

    Thanks for your comments. It was a long time ago but memorable nevertheless. As a budding film director I spent the day bossing him around. After a while he got fed up and kicked me in the solar plexus! It didn't hurt - he judged it to a millimetre - but I felt the force. A very powerful but nice man, may he rest in peace.

  • Some interesting film of Sensei Enoeda and Marshall St from 1978. Ive just seen a set of 4 DVDs which shows some even earlier film. Check out 'Shotokan Legacy'.
