Very good ideas, I can see that you also have some nutritional knowledge! - I just wanna make a suggestion.. The Syntha-6 you use consists og half protein/half carbs, and you already have enough carbs with the seeds and fruit, so you could make a more ideal smoothie with a protein powder with more protein value, for eksample the optimum nutrition product, or dymatize! - Thanks for the video
@kattemissen Thanks for the suggestion but I'll stick with Syntha-6 because it's the best protein that I have tried and I've been drinking protein for 20 years. Because I have such a high metabolism, I need more carbs. Can't afford to lose any weight. LOL! Besides, 13 grams isn't bad when you include the fiber which I don't think Dymatize has any (can't remember). Syntha-6 is easy on the stomach too. Thanks for watching!
@elj31326 They can be used for either. I mostly make them as a quick meal to keep me from going to a fast food restaurant or immediately after I workout.
@elj31326 Sorry about that! The milk is between 8-10oz and I just used 1 scoop of the oatmeal and protein powder. The scoop came inside the protein container.

@MzBarbiiebella Awww, THANKS! I use almond milk because I am lactose intolerant and I haven't found a dairy milk that doesn't mess up my stomach. I have tried dozens. LOL! The taste of almond milk is great too and I don't have to add sugar when I use it in my cereal.

My favorite thus far is fresh mango,frozen pineapple, lite vanilla yogurt, with a splash of juice...so good and filling! Thanks again...keep up the good work :)

@naturalhairful Awwww, THANKS! I got the protein from The Vitamin Shoppe. Yogurt does have protein. Greek yogurt actually has a higher content. The one I had earlier is by Danon and it had 12g compared to Yoplait's 6g. I personally wouldn't substitute yogurt for protein powder b/c I need extra protein after working out to rebuild my poor lil muscles. The benefits of flax seed oil are great but I hate the taste so I put it in my shakes and never know it's there. LOL!

All of these looked appealing until you got to the green one. I have a very low tolerance for taste and I tried a green drink b4 that I could not even take down. I just started using the Jillian Micheals Whey protein and am still adjusting to the taste. Every other one I tried I gave away after one drink. Thank you for posting this and love the info on the oatmeal.
@MissLeeLee37 LOL!!! The green one taste great!!! But you have to blend it much longer than the others. The apple juice helps with the taste. I haven't tried the JM Whey protein. @20pearlsNcurls Great video! How did you get your apple juice to look like that. Normally when I juice apples, they don't have the brown store bought looking color. What type of apples did you use and did you strain any residue of pulp?
@MeekInWisdom Thanks! I used red rome apples. The juicer that I have has a froth separator on it so the brown foam never mixes in with the juice. I didn't have to strain because the juicer does such a great job. I have a Breville.

There are soooo many things that you can do with a smoothie.
