Teacher "X" teaches 5 classes. He teaches 3 Algebra classes, 1 Advanced Algebra class, and 1 remedial class. His first four classes are okay, but his last class is utter chaos!
Why?
Is it because the class has 43 students instead of 35?
Or maybe because the majority of the students don't speak English?
Could it be that it's late in the day and the kids are tired?
Or maybe, just maybe, the kids are DOWN-RIGHT LAZY?
Stop blaming the hard-working, dedicated teachers!
The kids that talk loud and laugh during the movie! The ones that throw popcorn at the screen! The ones that run up and down the movie aisles. The ones that keep getting up to go to the bathroom! Those kids!
Do you think those kids could sit down for a 45 minute Math Lesson?
They can't sit still during a movie! You think they are going to pay attention to their math teacher?
So, who do we blame? The teacher? The administrators? The parents? Or the kids?
the REAL education starts at home black people, do not and i mean do not depend so much on both the board of education and charter schools, home schooling is key.

Sad but airforce2x is right. If a kid everyday is out there hustling he's true n*gga in the eyes of his peers. But if he speaks educated and wants to learn? he's a sellout wanna-be-white-in-sh*t. This country as made people want the wrong things. I saw 1st hand how in the same school which had reg and vanguard students it makes a difference. 1 hallway had vanguard the rest of the school had reg. Yet the teachers were better, the students were better and the parents were better. they did cared.
were one of the richest countries and we have kids who can barely read? wtf man! why dont those political fuck cakes spend a little less on making nukes and a little more on sending every kid to a good school
Parents are very quick to blame education systems and schools for their childrens shortcomings. I think way more emphasis should be place on proper parenting. Yes schools and good teachers are very important. But even more important is good parenting and giving a sh#t about your own child. And if you don't feel educated enough for this, spend some time with a family member or friend who is.

Charter schools are a joke!! Improve the public schools and increase catholic schools in the inner city. Children should NEVER be in a lottery. Keep schools public and private. Less hassle and less politics.
@Naye2Shy nono what he's talking about is the black person life style. The black people are racist by conveying it. "you gott a be black" as in speaking with poor grammar, have an attitude, and pride. The "black life style" is highly a part of drugs, sex, and gangs.
@nagzul Whoaaa!!! The black lifestyle is the only one that you hear about when it comes to crimes, drugs, etc. Who is the predominant race that uses Meth? What race were the Colombian kids? What race are the women that put their babies in microwaves and ish?? Just because you hear some black people using slang doesn't mean our entire race is ignorant. I hear jokes about blonde white chicks, but I'm not saying that all them B**** are dumb. Do your homework on your race before you stereotype.
@youngcal0421 that wasnt what I was saying. I'm saying that those who do create "being black" are giving you a bad name by creating a racist stereotype on themselves.
@youngcal0421 Ok ive done my home work on my race and BTW there's only 14 percent blacks in this country that are legal and of them i ask you how many must commit crimes in order for us to notice the, apparently quite a bit huh? its true the media does pick certain groups of people to stereo type but blacks arent the only ones have you ever heard the quote to corrupt a child simply tell them that theyre different from the others

that is bull shit, if a person has family that start's off lower in society, push back for centuries by racists dicks then there going to live in low income areas where the property taxes don't create enough revenue for a fair and equal education for all. Its the capitalist system that allows this not a persons lifestyle, more over this country is full of media craving youth who are more interested in what this capitalist system spews out for a distractions.
you have some effin nerve to say its the Lifestyle of "black people". So you're telling me that a white person that lives in a trailer park has the same opportunities as a white student that lives in the suburb? Don't try to characterize the whole black race of having this "lifestyle" that prevents them from getting the education that they deserve. This issue is, African Americans has always had to fight for equality, and this trailer and your comment proves that.

A lot of young teachers won't take jobs in schools where there are many minority students. Those type of schools need to be transformed... by people who are willing to be patient and actually get involved. I see so many teachers who will write off students and it's depressing.
I think a great deal of comments arthis is about e missing the point of this movie. One, NYC board of education is a three ring circus, where some schools have greater services, and resources than others. This is not about...oh those poor black children....pity them and their parents....this is about trying to find an alternative to a that farce organization called the BOE.
It's about parenting. We as parents are supposed to teach our kids, not some teacher. Pick up a book and read to your kids. Teach them how to read. Guide your children to a brighter future.
@cbeckett22 I am a soldier in the Army. When I was younger, my mother had 3 jobs in order to keep a roof over my head. For many people life is about survival. Food and water is hard to come by sometimes. Having the time to sit down after work is a luxury not all are afforded. I knew that my mother worked hard, and I love her. She gave me the ability to want more for myself. It's not about parenting, it's time. Teachers are supposed to help.
I am not being a racist, but black people, in general, are raising their children in a system that support violence and disrespect. Blacks, whites, browns and yellows all have equal potential as far as human qualities are concerned but the system they lives in is totally different, which yield the result what we see today. There wont be any change until the system changes. Period
@TheFXGuru amen! The only thing i would say is that many times it is not their intention in which they raise their children in this system. Where else can they go if they are short on money? That's why poverty stricken places have the most violence etc. It's not based on race at all. And the whole school system is a vicious cycle where as the rich continually benefit and where the poor suffer. The system must change. Equal education for all!
Im sick of people saying that these polls arent true, its obviously true all you have to do is look around and see the real world and its not racist if it is fact
@Prestonboy13 They are true but billions of money is spent for schools to help the children like these but there is a huge flaw in them, they sperate races, only blacks can go to those schools and they make the problem in away better but didn't some one say that they had a dream.
@benbenben1920 Parents teach their children religion, life, and morals and yes we spend time reading to them. In that 6 hours that my children is in school I expect that educator to teach my child the academics of life.trigonometry, algebra, history, science, etc. Its not just about reading a book, unless you actually read Einstein to your child..then kudos to you
@sweetdream91 did you not see the start of the video, the average 12th grade black student reads at an 8th grade level, this is NOT true for white students.
@sweetdream91 Who knows? I dont hear anything about Hispanics, and I'm Hispanic. This isn't about just African American students, its the educational system in this country that is paving a way for students to think that failure is a route that they should take when things seem hard. I just hate seeing that the underlying issue is being directed at one group when it is affecting us all.
The largest numbers of illiterate adults are white, native-born Americans. In proportion to population, however, the figures are higher for blacks and Hispanics than for whites.
Sixteen percent of white adults, 44 percent of blacks, and 56 percent of Hispanic citizens are functional or marginal illiterates. Figures for the younger generation of black adults are increasing. Forty-seven percent of all black seventeen-yearelds are functionally illiterate.

I have 3 points to make.
1 This movie looks entertaning.
2 I think people are to sensitive and raceist against blacks because of our president.
3 Example of 2 a tons of comments get removed by owner of video, youtuber, or spam when race is brought up in a video.
There are my 3 points and why i don't support race difference. The sun changed our skin color but we are all still the same speices.
