I think it was kind of like a narrow road to Wounded Rhymes. But yes, I think Lykke Li is fantastic, especially for the songs you mention, and Jerome (The Lost Session) is just.. pure beauty, in a soulful but heartwrenching way. I just love her music :)

k, from a Swede growing up in Canada, the 'Y' sound is equal to a french 'E' sound, the 'E' sound is equal to a short 'ah' sound.

a little like 'hookah' but with an L.

But if you don't pronounce it with some kind of scandanavian accent, it can't sound the same as her saying it no matter how you try to change the letters around.

I'm from Sweden though, live here, in a town where a lot of people speak a really heavy dialect, but that doesn't change the fact that we all say "Lykke Li" the same way. Swedes don't really change i, e and y, it's more å, ä and ö that changes depending on where you're from. But it's really hard for someone who doesn't speak swedish to pronounce it correctly, the same way that I can't pronounce certain, maybe chinese, names and words :)
