The evidence is, they could prosecute, but don't want to because of politics, not that they want to prosecute and can't because no crimes were committed. There is no question crimes were committed, but in fact, Obama and Holder are continuing some of them, (holding trials for people who were in custody long past past the time a "speedy trial" would have to take place.

There is a divide now between those among us who believe these same people allowed 911 to happen in order to create an environment that could support the imposition of dictatorship, and on the other side those who believe that idea to be a nutty conspiracy theory. Every new revelation supports one of these worldviews over the other. People who want to give these villains the benefit of the doubt ought to reassess the damage done if they are wrong.

well, that's a false dichotomy, there are those of us who believe that the Bush White House was simply incompetent and those who think that they simply weren't able to stop 9-11 even if they were competent, and that they used that problem to justify their later proceedings. I break company with you on the idea that 911 was allowed to happen, mostly because I don't have the evidence to support it, and even in my worst thoughts of Bush and his comrades, I don't think they would do that

If you believe I am a nutty conspiracy theorist you are the "other side" I referred to. I submit that if you see no evidence they let 911 happen, you haven;t looked at much evidence. Several of the hijackers were known to law enforcement, suspicious activities were tracked, and at every critical juncture law enforcement and intel agencies were instructed to back off. Same for the flight school in Florida. The dogs were always pulled off on orders from above. The above was the White House. Truth.
