  • RIP Paul

  • Love this band. With this kind of material they should be sipping martinis in their palatial mansions instead of working for CIE or what ever theyre doing now.If they decide to reform hope they come to |Galway .The 'Roisin Dubh' would be the perfect venue! Rock on.

  • Hi great song but it stops after 46 secs. Is this a recent problem as nobody else seems to have commented?

  • @cortinag Hi there , I have just played the video and it's plays all the way through ,no Blip after 46 seconds this end ???

  • Klassic Stepaside

Memories from the late seventies, early eighties @ Sportsmans Inn - Sunday nights........

Sergeant Pat on the door with trucker Dominic......

Big John and little Tony at the bar.....

One in every town hanging out at the Galaxian's machine - he's always hanging 'round......

Drink driving, smoking and groping - if ur lucky....

And then it became Matchums - courtesy of Matt the thrasher - RIP.

Brilliant nostalgic post, thank you sooooooooo much.

  • Hi Mark ,it's being a pleasure doing the vids and the music sounds as fresh today as it did in '79' when I first saw Stepaside in the Baggot inn . .Nice to see your still going strong and hope to catch you at a gig next time i'm in dublin .

Thanks for the music and good luck with any future recordings

    Steve

  • Hi from Mark from Stepaside.

It's amazing to see the songs appearing on the Internet with your creative work.

We did a gig last Sunday night in the Sportsman's Inn in Dublin and people in the audience videod some of it with their cameras. Now that's on YouTube already.

It's a different world that the one we were in in 1979 when we recorded that album. The guys in the band would like to say thank you to all people who still enjoy the music. Maybe it's time for us to think of recording again.

  • Hey mark its cian!! haha! please do record..

  • Cheers ziggy ,great to be able to upload it .Those boys new how to rock .The rest of the tracks of album I uploaded to .

  • Luxy, can't tell you how great it is to hear this song again. Be nice to hear the whole album again.

But, thanks a million for this. I'm wallowing in a (nice, blue, warm) sea of nostalgia now.

    Kudos to you.

    Ziggy

  • Cheers sid, rks for comments .
