I am in Awe! Nice to see how the real guys do it. With no M.I.D.I. (Mentally. Incompetent. Dummies. Interface.) Thanks for a little glimpse of Heaven!. Fck Midi it's a crutch, not an asset! .....Only needed by the Lame!.
Spend as much time tweaking the CV generation and processing as you do the audio half of things. Have a lot of modules. There are about 10 each of VCO/VCA/LFO and recently twice the envelope generators. You could multi-track, but then it doesn't become this monstrous organic thing.
though i must admit that im very curious as to what you answered angelometz, and also to find out what you use as trigger signals, as the beats sound almost random, but with control.
Any chance you could grace us with a description of it? Like, how many osc? What filters? Any special trick? I have a small dotcom system and I would love to get some sounds like these. Did you use a ring modulator? I think I hear it. Very snappy envelopes. Sample and hold or step sequencer? Both? Very nice! Thanks a lot for posting!
Loved it. YOu can hear the wetness of those filters and envlepose popping and the fidelity is top drawer. the complexity of the random events all synced together speaks of sophistication sonically. It's evident that you can't get that kind of synergy out of anything other than a modular system similar to this or a Buchla or serge or moog
Id love to buy it if I knew who you are! Hell Id love to buy a dvd of watching you patch hehehehe. Thats the sickest modular system Ive ever seen. At any rate fantastic work.
love this sooo much, Wiard is my fave. someday Ill have a 300 series...

A doepfer starter system costs as much as a mid-ranged PC. So no, not that expensive.

Ace... there's only one thing I hate about modulars though, they're so bloody addictive!
