  • Love love love her.

  • Thanks for posting!! So good.

  • Unique Voice and what a great take of this great song from 1982!!

  • I have always loved her voice. So powerful.

  • She sounds even better live.

  • this usta be my get dressed to go out party song....owllllll

  • what a voice¡¡, I used to think she was a boy¡

  • That was such an incredible performance

  • She needs to hook up with Daptone instead of that empty-headed amy winehouse.

  • Great version! :-)

  • Love it!

  • WOW.. Electronic music totally unplugged, Alison Moyet Rules!!!

  • Again, awesome!

  • Fantastic voice, i love that song. And i don't give a shit if it looks like a man's voice. It isn't and thats what matter.

  • She's marvelous!

After all these years and she's still the same!

Thanks a lot for the video.

  • All i can say is ALISON MOYET IS HOT.....this is a lovely acoustic version

  • Thank you God for the early 80s...when great acts like this were born.. Send me back in time!

  • brilliants fantastic !! love you alison xx

  • God I LOVE this song and i LOVE Alison and i LOVE how she looks in this video!

  • I would love to get her on a track of mine!!

    Love, love, LOVE Alison!

  • her voice is fooking amazing, she needs a comeback soon

  • Love it!

  • My dog barked at her introductory sounds (dooo). Now she's wagging her tail.

  • She certainly has a fantastic voice.

In fact,I'm a big of Alison Moyet. She sings brilliantly with Vince Clarke for Yazoo.

  • quelle voix. jolie version accoustique, c'est cool de montrer qu'une chanson quand elle est bonne elle peut se jouer dans tous les styles...

  • Alison Moyet a une superbe voix

  • a classic made in acoustic way, nice.

  • This is amazing, but the chorus guys SUCK!!!! If I was going to play and sing with her I would be damn sure to do my homework and sweat bullets for getting my part right, and not lackluster her amazing voice.

  • She's so sexy and beautifull !

years as no effect on her ...

  • she is class

  • Thanks for this.

  • if i go to hell i don't care ,i've heard what heaven sounds like.

  • Boy I guess I had it wrong all these years. I always thought Andy Bell sang all these songs and then later sang for Erasure.

  • If that were the case, Andy would have been around 5 or 10 while recording Upstairs at Eric's. I'm guessing you are no older than 20.

  • Actually, Andy bell is less than 3 years younger than Alison Moyet. He is 44 now..not 30.

  • Damned! What a voice. Friggin' love this shit!

  • yeah...she has such a wonderful and unique voice...I love this version saved it as a favorite

  • wa, cool version!

  • talent

  • go girl still got it always had it ! brill x

  • She is one of our best singers!!!!!!!!!!

    And she looks so sexy...

    and so relaxed...

dont forget Vince Clarke, ex depeche who wrote it.

and the great 'just cant get enough'

    wow...she is so beautiful

  • OMG!!! This is heaven. Man, I love me some Alison Moyet. This is classic.

  • one of my fave dance songs from 87...

  • This song is not from 87, but from 82 or 83.

  • CURIOSA VERSION ...ESTA BIEN..

  • oh god i wish i was in this party . I love this version, if u see bands like this in small venues then u realize how talented da band is.

  • Wow! That was bloody brilliant!!

  • Awesome how u can turn such a great dance hit into something else. Great acoustic as well as the original!Amazing voice Ali!

God how I miss the 80's!!!!

  • Alison, kiss me, baby.

  • the 80's and earlier were the days where music was diversified and had vibes.Music was based and concentrated on the own style the artists had. In these days you hear always the same rubbish on radio and music tv. mostly hip hop, r n b, punk rock stereotyps......

The voices and acting is all the same in these days. I mean just compare The Police with Billy Ocean in the 80's, what a big difference.

  • I loved this song all my life..since it came out in 83, and only today i found out its a lady who sings..i allways thought it was a guy..shes amazing..

  • This is good just at the same without Vince Clarke's amazing synth playing. Moyat is great has an awsome voice & is pretty too.

  • so why isnt she played on the radio and why did vince dump her

  • i think she left vince

  • Alison Moyet is the queen! A voice and style that is truly incomparable! YOU ROCK!

  • Has anybody else noticed how Vince Clarke's newer music kinda sucks ever since he left Alfie and Yaz behind?

  • aye she has such an awesome voice...this is awesome thanks for the post

  • en verdad que es la mejor.

  • Great Alison, For ever!!!

  • This is tight.. Great Post

  • Oh Alison!!!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT this is so wicked

  • pick me up and shake round... i love this song

  • what a voice!! unique an powerful!!! very talented singer!!

  • Whoa...just...whoa...!

  • vince is awesome too, but alison's great in any format, and these is a cool performance. thanks for posting!

  • This song rips it! I love it! Don't kill me for saying this, but, I like it even better than the original! :-)

  • Thanks for posting!!!

  • Allison is the voice!

  • This is a bit weird - Allison's got a quite similar vocie to that of Andy Bell, and she even...looks like him sometimes..isn't it strange? but nevertheless - she's an amazing singer!!

  • I love Allison! She always helped me through my 'situations'.

  • Alison is a hottie and has an incredible voice. This version of situation is really amazing!! sounds great!!

  • This version is hot. Some A hole did a remix with a transbeat drum back. It is aweful and stale but THIS IS HOT@!

  • Can Alison be any more FANTASTIC??!!??!!?? This is awesome!

  • Love Alison!

  • She's always been an amazing singer !

  • Lovely. As much as I enjoy Vince Clarke, this version was really quite excellent. And Situation is by far my favourite Yazoo track.

  • AWESOME!!! I miss the Clarke's synths, but it's lovely!!!

  • Surprised about this one. It's quite good.

  • Someone quick: What are the guitar chords the guitarist is strumming? thanks!

  • ditto that! 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!'

  • i'm having shivers,what a voice.

  • she's got better through the years, where is she???

  • Her website will give you all the updates you need

  • This is very cool. Versions as this should have been recorded as B-sides, like Worse things. Love Alison going acoustic.

  • When was this recorded?

  • 1993/4 - it's from Live at the Lighthouse in West London an AIDS awareness gig

  • And again:AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
