  • Love this song. Listening tonight brought a lot of memories from my youth.

  • Love this song bring the real music back from the 80s and 90s......

  • one of my favorites! THX

  • aw the 80's when times were good before all the stuff in todays fast paced life. Listen to the way the bass rides and the keys fill it up and the drums are just right and the guitar in the middle good pop country.

  • Okay someone needs to post "Lying In His Arms Again" by the Forester Sisters!!! Its not on here!!

  • 0:01.; Go, DODGE!: :)

  • so beautiful!

  • OH. MY. GOD. I have not heard this song in nearly 25 years. Takes me back =D

  • Thank you for posting. This is one of my favorite songs of all time. But it would be awesome if there was a clearer souding version available.

  • The Forester Sisters are wonderful. I wish someone would put up Too Many Rivers to Cross and the Foresters singing I'd choose you again. And of course, Too Much is Not Enough with the Bellamys

  • I was overseas in the Navy when I first heard them. Several years later, I was out of the Navy and living in Eureka, CA.

I was driving to Ukiah, and this great big tour bus came around the bend of the highway...it was their tour bus. I wish I could have seen them in concert. Totally awesome harmonies.

  • At the very end of this video there is the start of the introduction to a song, I think it's by Kenny Rogers or Steve Wariner. Do you know which song that is?

  • Kenny Rogers. Morning Desires

  • What a song. Back in the 80ties Country was still Country music.

  • 80s Country was the best!!

  • I had one for a teacher. I guess that is the most famous person I really knew. I also knew the Alabama Drummer's daughter. I worked with her at a camp.

  • brings me back to the 80's.damn good song.

  • lovely ladies then and still. ihope they are happy these days!

  • I think they are. I knew them during their most successful years. They went back home to Georgia to be moms and aunts and have raised seven wonderful kids among them. I last saw them perform at a fire department benefit in their home town two years ago...as great as ever!

  • what a good song..reminds me when my mom would listen to the radio while she did dishes after supper and these good songs where all out then...great song

  • This is a great song, but I really wish there was a better recording on youtube.

  • Bach then CMT was worth watching. Greta song and video and the memories.................

  • does anyone know who sings

'slow boat to China. I thought it was this group, but I can't find it Help!!!!

  • That song was done by a group called The Girls Next Door.

  • I know! It was another all girl group called "The Girls Next Door". :) I haven't heard that song in years!

  • Sorry, the only one remotely close that I, myself can think of is actually a song called "Break my stride" but thats sung by some guy named Matthew Wilder.

    Lyrics:

Last night I had the strangest dream,

    I sailed away to China

in a little row boat to find ya.

You said you had to get your laundry clean.

But I kinda doubt its the song your looking for, or is it? If not, sorry I tried.

  • Summer of 1986.... CMT..... Great Memories.....

  • God I love this song. I use to wait for the video to come on the Nasville network everyday when I was a kid.

  • I have a picture of my Mom and my 4 sisters with Kathy Forester(she was pregnant) and was holding her daughter. I wouldn't take anything for the pic, Kathy was so sweet after the concert 1982 ? in Greenville,S.C.

wish they were still recording , they were great

  • I loved this video as a kid, and this song still sounds so wonderful like it did so many years ago. I was so amazed when I first heard this song. I still love it today. The Forrester Sisters were really amazing!

  • This is the first country song i fell in love with . every since than i have been hooked on country music going back to 1986

  • Kathy (playing the piano) is my choral director at Northeast Alabama Community College. She's by far one of the most talented and amazing people I've ever met. I grew up listening to the Forrester Sisters and its an honor to get to work with her now.

  • My Mom & Dad went to school with June & Christy Forrester.... Kathy (piano) teaches school in Trenton, Georgia.

  • Welcome..who knows? Just a clarification..
