Maybe there is a God-- he is punishing the United States for all the harm we have done-- starting wars (to control more oil), reward the defense contractors, prop up dictators-- all in the name of "democracy". Meanwhile, health, children's health, education, environment, and "democracy" have all suffered.

That was certainly a cringeworthy statement given by the President. In the end, this was a road that the former President and Vice-President put us on and it seems self-perpetuating.
