WE WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT IN THEE I PUT MY TRUST ALL MY BATTELS HE WILL FIGHT -4 X IN ORDER TO PLEASE THE LORD. YE MUST HAVE FAITH IN ORDER TO PLEASE THE LORD!!!! GOD BLESSS
@dreddy661 Man, we used to wear this cassette OUT!!! lol I'll never forget: on a long ride home from church the music cut off and it was obviously too quiet in the car. My oldest daughter started singing this song and then got to the part "All of my BAD TOES heal FAST". We cracked up the rest of the way home.
Everyone pray for Aretha Franlkin, she had surgery for ancreatic cancer. I know Vanessa Bell Armstrong is going to be shaken by this. She is one of her favorite singers.
OMG!! One of the first choir songs I can remember... and despite its vintage the sopranos still have me in awe no matter how many i hear/ watch this...
Good ole days! I remember standing in the back of the tenor section hitting 'Jon kee' Falsetto notes LOL (still can lol) What an era this was, watching Bobby Jones to see John P Kee was a must!!
They don't make good ol' clap yo hands, pat yo feet, and get yo shout on choir music any more! There are many talented choirs, but there is something about John's music that you could always sing along (even if you weren't the next great soloist and didn't have a range); nowadays, you have to be potential recording material in order to sing along, and you can't really break a shout (dance). You can get your bounce on, but you can't get a real good Holy Ghost shout! I miss the old school! :-)
Man do you remember these good ole days my brothers and I would be in the living room dancing tearing up our mothers furniture man the goood ole days for real.
I grew up in the John p kee era, his son Chris and I are the same age so i would always mimic him, and i learn all my riffs and runs from john p kee, lol remembering sunday mornings catching them on Bobby Jones and my mom fussing because i was making her late for church...THE GOOD OLE DAYS
this brings back so many memories when i was a kid .i love the part when vanessa was picking up the mic she knew she was going to tear it up at 3:00.lol
This brings back so many memories. My dad use to play John P. Kee like crazy when I was a little girl and until this day he still does. I love this song!!!!
This hair style truly give meaning to the saying fried, died and layed to the side gone mrs armstrong. There is no way you can sit and listen to the song and not tap your foot thanks for posting
