It makes a image in your mind of a pure desolate lonely place and you find that the place that you may think is depressing is actually the most beautiful once you realize it.

The fact that you use 'faggot emos' when comparing emo to DSBM suggests you know nothing of 'real' emo, just emptivemo bullshit. Check out a band like Love Lost But Not Forgotten or I Would Set Myself On Fire For You. It's a similar raw, grim desolate feeling, only a chaotic counterpoint to the droning atmosphere of DSBM. Like a mixed state vs depression.
