the original idea was to have air on both sides of the smokescreen, (fog in the center of the sandwich) but that didnt work out so well, so I blocked off one of the straw-vents and just pumped the fog and air through a single vent.
Thanks for the advice. I intend make one for next Halloween. These things cost thousands of dollars from the manufacturer and don't really achieve any better resolution than what I see on your vid. Great job.

what if you run a re turn air at the botem so you pull a vacum. Would that help with a more lamanet flow of the air/fog curtian?

So you are pushing air out through the front straws and fog out the back or are you just forcing both through the same set of straws?

You really need to chill the fog, or you will fill the whole room with smoke. Also, the intermittent nature of the cheap fog machines is a problem.

Replace the straws with a set of honeycomb filters, they are used to produce industrial air curtains.
