  • ok this is marketing so how muchof this is true??

  • First track ID?

  • Good on you Gerald so proud of you.........Janet from Rush x

  • I just wonder what he means when he says that other software "pushes you in a certain direction"... what is he talking about? I mean, most pros are on Live, Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools even... how do these push in a certain direction? Ok... maybe Fruity Loops, but how many people are on that?

  • does he still live in manc?

  • I remember buying his album "Automannik" in like, 1990 or something - and if you listen to that, it STILL flies in the face of modern electro. Go grab it if you get a chance...it's an electro odyssey....

  • Can't go wrong with Acid

  • @plasmaforce11 Yeah its a hell of a drug, the software sucks balls though :D

  • @sacredgeometry

yeah, that's like potty training for producers...

  • saw him the other day. just mellow, intraspective and quite a funny guy. legend

  • I believe a Guy Called Gerald is from another planet OR has met alien beings OR has had psychic contact with higher beings or continues to have contact NOW. Seriously. His music is highly advanced and has a sound out of this world.

  • I agree 100%, way ahead of his time

  • yow yu a yard man?

  • headcut, when you say Voodoo Ray was a 'bad track', I hope you mean that in an old school hip sort way and infact mean it was great... cause you ain't gonna find anyone here that agrees with you if mean it was crap.

  • I didn't know he used reason, that's cool

  • I didn't know he still made music. lol

I love Voodoo Ray though so I'm def going to check out his new stuff.

  • black secret technology was amazing from 95.

He did an album called to all things what they need in 05 which I liked too. They're both very different.

  • a guy gerald and bobby conors legends big up to you guys

  • was in "the Kitchen" Hulme Manchester...September 88 when Gerald brought in his promo "VOOdO Ray"...the place went wild...good memories of the kitchen(2 flats knocked into 1)

  • A brilliant producer and writer....one of the early pioneers of the oldskool scene...his early works were nasty as hell..and his 303 works kicked ass and still stand up today in all this candy arsed crap that is running around....total RESPECT...peace

  • this software can made the impossible, and realy more than techno dance or hiphop and rock music, it's incredible i really really need to buy it.

  • as a matter of fact hes not a vampire ..he's an underwater living being ...drexciya

  • I cannot understand how people can bring up colour on youtube so much. Even when it has nothing to do with the video. Laughable.

  • @terryryan2005 seriously right! what the hell does it have to do with anything? so ridiculous.

  • Proper down to earth guy. Voodoo Ray is an alltime classic, huge respect.

  • voodoo ray, oooo oo oo ahh ah ah yeh, say no more, that tune was the first thing i heard regarding "dance music"

and is still in my top ten of tunes. Just bought reason 4,it

would be great to spend a couple of days picking your

    brain's....... RESPECT.

  • how come he moved to Berlin?? better scene there? he does seem a bit knackered, but he's a dj so... he seems like an intelligent and thoughtful guy though. good video

  • Gerald is the Faya!

  • Voodoo Ray was a bad track do you guys remember it ?

  • gerald couldn't be arsed

  • Gerald probably will never fit the stereotype your used to.

he is very laid back but focused on the crafting of sound rhythm. a million miles away from the performing clown you expect to see when you see some of Color.

  • who are you his manager? his mother? i just made a comment. to me he seems like he's tired and probably had a late night. suddenly you're making cracks about "people of color" -what fucking century were you born in mate?

  • ."gerald couldn't be arsed"not good.black male's don't get that much when it comes to positive press.yes gerald is a vampier but unfortenetly the film crew only work in the day.anyway gerald would like to say.The legacies of history served to marginalise peoples of African descent across Britain, Europe and North and South America and normalise notions of superiority amongst white populations.

thank's for your suport over the last 20 year's

  • really nice

    really

    nice

  • i love this guy! the track humanity damn what a great track is it.
