The super-rich elite have all been taking several actions to surpress brain activity, and they do this mostly through television and schools, notice how they teach you WHAT to think, and not HOW to think. They can't have an educated and powerful-minded public, or else the jig is up for them.
It all comes down to us being our worst enemies at times. We could accomplish so many things with our brains. That’s the best gift we have. Negativity blocks creativity. Wendy awesome video there!
I admire your, it's great to explain to us such a difficult field with all the smiling, laughing, easy examples... You are explaining it to us like to a little kid and that is what I really like and esteem in a teacher. Thank you!
this was very interesting i never heard of those studies they did with just visualizing on what they are doing alot of it makes sense thou this actually help thanks
Hi, I am really enjoy your video, you are very charismatic. Your thoughts on visualization very much in line with the movie Demolition man where Westly Snipe and Sylvester Stalone was frozen and rehabilitated while they were in deep freeze. When Westlly Snipe came out of it he mastered the martial skills..while Sylvester instinctively knitting very well.. .
i couldn't tell if what she said was that important or if we had already known these things way before, but i sure could tell that she is so sweet and cute and beautiful and smart. ok she is a little mature but she is a really beautiful lady. i wish i was 10-15 years older.
Neurons that encounter repeated stimulus reduce their successive response, a process called adaptation. If mirror neurons existed in the activated part of the brain, reasoned Caramazza, adaptation should be triggered by both observation and performance.
Hi Wendi, thanks for posting this. I'm a grad student and try my best to practice visualization but continue to have difficulties on my exams. I meditate before exams and try my best to have a positive outlook but it still doesn't work. I am just barley passing. My grad school did IQ testing on me and they said I have more than enough ability to do well..but I can't fight what is holding me back.
When you are studying, maybe you are not storing the information that you are learning in a way that allows you to retrieve it easily. Focusing on the specific subject, then taking a break after 10 minutes with eyes closed, doing nothing, will help your brain absorb and store it better. Research shows better retention if you study then STOP and nap or sleep or just twiddle your thumbs with eyes closed.
Excellent video Wendi and i just love the way you explain things in simple words :)

Failure to find cross-modal adaptation for executed
and observed motor acts is not compatible with the core assumption
of mirror neuron theory, which holds that action recognition
and understanding are based on motor simulation.

In contrast to the recent
study by Chong et al. (24), but in line with Dinstein et al. (23),
we found that simple motor acts that are first executed and then
observed do not lead to adaptation.

Very helpful and logical.
