i have same rolla, but i have problems with changing from first to second gear, always going difficult, but when driving slowly there are no problems :-D
I have the same problem.....raspy sounds etc. In the brands service they oiled the manual and clutch and said there is no problem. But its not normal that i cant do a fast shifting in case of a drag race....and i lose because of it. Sometimes the reverse is hard too. Can anybody solve it?

I have the problem with shifting too. Check my response to video. It is really hard to shift fast. Could it be a clutch problem?

his shifting isnt even that good. check out my vids, that's real shifting. search "chopstix1861" and look for the corolla videos

ahaha i wish i had stronger gears...but it isnt bad i ran a 15.89 in the quarter mile at the strip and my car is stock.
