an than for mr turnbull to say he supports infrastructure spending but vote aganist the spending. he is all about spin really, no substance.

I can admit that i am a Labor supporter. I do however tend to look at in more detail what the opposition has to offer in this case. The Liberal/National party was in government for a long time. Surely with all the experience they had getting to surplus like selling off a chunk of australia's gold and a reduced to clear price helped. But I dont want to get into that. I see it like this. The labor party had budget and is spending to support jobs and building for the future.....

Does the opposition normally offer an 'alternative budget'? The fact is that the Opposition's economic approach would have been different from day 1. That's Janurary 2008. It would be quite bizarre for the Opposition an alternative budget with the Rudd Government's previously inacted policies as a sort of 'starting point'.

Australia avoided recession for numerous factors. I'd say the fact that we were in an excellent position in the first place thanks to the Howard Govt's policies...

That's exactly what Australia needs. People that are seriously passionate and straight shooting like Joe Hockey. Not people like Kevin Rudd who pussy-foot around trying to sound intelligent in the hopes of luring the ignorant people of Australia with false promises. It is shameful that a PM of any country has to resort to feeble attempts to win public support, like learning traditional Australian phrases (incorrectly at that)

Hockey = honest and trustworthy
