Why is it you support Greenpeace? And they never find a solution that will solve the crisis. Why is it they never support research that is needed?
Along with why is it government, authority and industry leaders (Banking systems included) also refuse to support the energy research we all need? C.M.A. energy research - check it out and you'll find the answer why! Then ask your self? Are you following the fox that runs the hen house for granite?
It would be easy to get Nike or Adidas to listen. If enough people refused to buy their product for one year, they'd listen, but most people would rather have a brand name shoe than worry about any act of corporate malfeasance or the environment.
Many people, especially in the west, care until it effects their comfort or capital gain, and then it is a problem for another place or generation. Most prefer to display brand names than concern themselves with their kid's or grand-kid's futures.
Imagine the aquatic life that has to endure this besides oil disaster, corexit, ocean dumping, radioactive fallout. Then you have toxic municipal sewage sludge that's labeled "organic" fertilizer & sold in garden supply stores and used by 10s of thousands of farms and ranches across the US. Thank goodness for Greenpeace, NaturalNews . com and Organic Consumer Association among others.
Is China's water really worse than U.S water? I read 80% of lakes, streams, rivers, etc., are polluted and that was years ago. Coincidentally, for the past few days I Poland Springs has stepped up their water ads on the radio. (watch?v=A3uDEnk2QpU). I returned a bottle I bought while at beach the other day because I forgot my Jana water. The Poland Spring bottle of water had a very faint 'raw sewage' odor & tasted the same. IMO Poland Springs is NOT pure natural spring water from Maine.
Tell Nike and Adidias they have to invest more and have less profit in order to take care of the old methods applied in chinese factory for their products.
Why do people still buy from Nike and Adidas? Isn't exploiting poor chinese children already enough? It's horrible what they've done to such a beautiful country as China once was.
@fantax929 That is a slightly misinformed comment. The whole using Chinese Children for labour thing went away some time ago. All major organisations have corporate responsibility standards which work pretty well. Cambodia and other SE Asian nations are the places where there are Corporate responsibility issues. Please don't think I don't support Greenpeace on the pollution issue, I do but the kiddie labour thing is pretty much gone. China is becoming rich on American gold.
time... not not "only", where th is missing/ no atitude th is no change even at long time (and, th / we have th time? ) it's about responsability, care ... atitudes!

Go green or go home! Big brands like Nike and adidas should clean up their supply chains.
