The donut block method doesn't work very well, the zone you place in the middle of the donut (usually police department) has less effect because there's no road or rail touching it.

I think it's supposed to represent mass transit in general. You can get around inner London easily using the buses and underground trains.

I'm trying to make the city I'm living in on Simcity SNES and when I first got this game I was like I wonder if anymore games are like this (back in 1998 I think before I got the game my cousin had 2000). Ever since Simcity was my favorite game.

Jessi... the programming in this game is very basic, so there's hardly any justification with it in terms of anything practical. NEVER use roads, not even a little; it causes pollution (vehicles, go figure), crime, and decreases land value. You will especially see trouble with Residential zones if you use road next to them.

Most I ever got was around the 550,000 mark. Think I remember you being rewarded with a statue of mario if you get 500,000 or a megalopolis as it was called in the game. Good times!

I don't know anyone who has built a larger city than mine... 753,440 (The game genie was used for unlimited presents). Even with this many people, I still had room for some forrest and park. Email me if you want to see the pic!

Getting 500k is easy... with or without stacking. I always used the money code, but never liked stacking. I enjoyed the "natural" landscapes.

Fuck, I remember this game. The only way you can get to megalopolis is zone stacking. You done the right thing on that map but I noticed a lot of resis haven't developed, bulldoze a couple and make parks in a few of them. I got to 550,000 or something... I was at school dammit!

Most I was able to get was 960,220. Without stacking abt 620,000. Using an emulator with endless gifts 1,227,040

Hey there, the game is exactly the same, so you dont need to buy SC for the Wii (if you dont have a GC, you would have to buy a joypad too, so better save the money)...

Yes, the music changes. You also get a Mario statue to place in your city, which is pretty cool. I can't remember whether the Mayor's house changes though - it's been a while.

Absolutely splendid! I could of sworn I did that donut structure too! However, I didn't put all my zones in that kinda order though. Plus I was too busy trying to clear that last scenerio where there is no water and nothing but land. I never was able to get near that much at all. :P

Cool. On mine, the 'without cheating' one, I had to crash my aeroplane into the airport, which luckily made my airport into one segment - giving me space for 4-5 extra industrial zones.
