Whenever I try installing this game I get: Error 1309. Error reading from file: D:\Program Files\Industry Giant 2\ig2.exe. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

Can anyone help? I tried installing Patch 1.3, then when I try to start the game it says 'wrong disc'.

Es un juego excelente! La verdad me parece muy bien logrado, pero tengo un pequeño problema con la campaña fácil, alguien que me explique porqué me atasco en la misión dos? No puedo extraer petróleo (0.1 x mes) y tampoco puedo poner un criadero de cocodrilos porque la produccion es de 0 al mes.

@avefenixJ : Asi es, un excelente juego siendo para nada popular y bastante antiguo, no recuerdo muy bien la misión que reguntas, pero al instalar una zona de extracción de petroleo y criaderos de cocodrilos tienes que fijarte bien en la zona del mapa en donde los instalas, ya que alguna zonas son mas fertiles que otras, fijate bien y podras avanzar en el juego...salu2

@icgonz85 Créeme que no es porque sea "tela" en el juego, me doy cuenta cuando es una buena zona y cuando no. Estoy más bien se debe de tratar de un bug, al cual le buscado la solución mucho en la web y no la encuentro... además cuando llego al año 1910 la dmanda de productos se me cae a cero. Si alguien sabe como solucionar eso por favor respondan el mensaje...

Actually, if we get the 3rd world up to 1st world levels, we get a much larger economy, which leads to a better standard of living for us AND them. And the environment provides services that can't be gotten elsewhere, except for a very high cost.

well the forum explains which stuff you need to download depending on which version of IGII you have (i.e. gold edition, or addon etc.) So there is more than one download! Also, make sure you follow the instructions, its a little confusing.

if the links dont work, just right click and copy the link location. then open a new tab and copy it in to the address bar. most likely nothing to do with cookies! :P

Thanks for replying. Still having trouble though. When I do as you suggest in that new tab, the pages is just a duplicate of the page from which I had just come. I right clicked the download link and from properties I copied the address and pasted it into my browser's new tab, IE7. As others have, I have tried everything in my little bag of tricks and have failed to get the game to work. :-( Pity.

This game is the best financial/economic game I ever played. Got some bugs though, think the first patches fixes it. Has great music aswell

the game got a major bug, it wont work if you have a nvidia geforce 6000 and up, the game is not compatible and jowood really don't care cause the team that make the game is no longer, so no patch to fix the game, solution change you video card or trow away the game.
