Hoover's region also has some of the top teams in the state, like themselves, Spain Park and Vestavia who played each other in the semifinals, and Mountain Brook. homidog...we're definately not a joke in football. Alabama has better football than Oklahomie ever will. Hoover's region also has some of the top teams in the state, like themselves, Spain Park and Vestavia who played each other in the semifinals, and Mountain Brook. Not to mention the south, with Prattville, who is nationally ranked in the top 10 and has won state twice in a row, along with Foley and Daphne. Yes, Hoover's rebuilding with a new coach, but don't assume Hoover represents the state

im not talking about oklahoma i agree wit u oklahoma football doesnt compare to alabama. texas on the othr hand dominates all states in football. then cali and florida in a close second, mayb florida tied in first wit texas. im sorry, but u cant argue that alabama has a better atmosphere or better teams than texas. it was determined a long time ago texas was superior to alabama football.

no. alabama is not a state known for football. texas is the best state when it comes to it u cant deny it. florida and cali are also at the top. teams like odessa permian, southlake carroll, highland park, euless trinity,etc can demolish any highschool team in that state. evr heard of chase daniel or matt stafford the heisman canidates this next ncaa season? chase played at southlake carroll and matt stafford played at highland park. im sorry u hav no arguement as y alabama evn sits wit texas.

I've heard about the head coach at Union Tulsa that year. Kevin Wright? I know that you Tulsa fans hated him but whatever happend to him after he was fired? He coached a team here in Indiana that was amazing. Warren Central. The year he went to Tulsa, Tulsa lost and Warren was ranked #4 in the nation.

man did i read the wrong article! On Hoover's web site they did go to the playoffs but they lost last week 21-17 in the quarterfinals. However their coach was forced to resign due to academic problems with his athletes. You cant believe everything you read on the net but go to the schools site and you get the truth. Either way they werent number 1 this year and their dynasty is over.

Wow Kumarz you need to get your scores straight, and im in Tulsa where Union is, they beat the Ohio school 31-0. Not 67 to 14. It was Canton Mckinley and they were ranked 42nd by Rivals, and not ranked by ESPN or USA Today! McKinley won their opener the week before by 60 points and that is what you may have been thinking of.

Yeah, it sucked that we lost so badly. I go to union and I was at the game. It was still really cool to play them though.
Oh yeah and to whoever said that we are still bad even with our college stadium is ridiculous because our previous seasons were amazing. This year just didn't really go our way.
One more thing. Coach Wright just resigned and we have this new dude coming in.
