Alright first off, being a bass player, I know it's a pain in the ass to get the bass to be heard well on camera. The low sound is hard for the recorder to interpret. So that can cause problems on it's own.
In this case, the drums were way over powered. Too much symbol mashing and what not. More stick on pad. The bass needs to be heard in a song like this.
Everything else, not too shabby. I loved the guitar.
Guys, I hate to say it, but you have something unique, but not quite in a good way. If you call yourselves a RHCP cover band, then at least nail the perfections of RHCP. The bass was okay at the beginning not everyone can make the slap flow as well as Flea, hell not a lot can. But You can't hear ANY bass except the bass DRUM after that. Be it guitar or bass. Singer was good with pitches but he sung it without much bass tone in his voice, which could be a cause of the recording device. good luck

The guitar was perfectly fine. except the volume, The bass was fine at the start. except by the sounds of it, he put a bit too much power into his plucking. the drums were too loud, and the volume of the singer was not loud enough. If the re-made this video at the proper volumes, i think it would be great.

Yeah that clacking sound comes from the bass, for some reason every time you slap it the strings hits the pickups and makes that sound...so no matter what it sounds bad

am i the only one who can't hear the bass for shit? it may be a 15 watt amp, but a great rule of thumb so you don't fuck your ears is "turn down not up", get your guitarist to turn down, and the drummer to play softer. it's so common to hear the vocals drowned out it's not funny, when the vocals generally need to be the most heard thing. you're playing the line wrong too, you play the riff in e, then in g flat, then you go up to a (i think??), it's like

sorry man but even through heavy duty amps that range 2-3 grand couldnt help that watered down riff guitar playings pretty good absolutly hated the bass if you wanna cover flea do it right. i play bass myself and this is my favorite song to play.

Bass guy must take a look at that bridge, at 1:28, thats an awsome riff and he doesnt play it! thats terrible, atleast try to improvise something cool there ^^

Bass player needs to work on the song some more. Look up the tabs, practice, then try again. Song has a lot more movement to it on the bass

To give you a heads up, there is a couple RHCP bass tablature books at guitar center. That should help you nail the tricky parts.
