For Megadeth type tones go to modern hi gain, for Metallica go to rectified. Just play with the EQ on those for a while, and read the manual if possible, it really helps.

No it wasn't it might have been a slight dive, but definitely not a dive bomb, the polka dot V was used for this and it didn't have a floyd rose, and in addition to that it had tuning problems, therefore it couldn't have been. lol, i just had a tirade, sorry mate.
