I used the new website for the first time yesterday. It is bloody awful. The ugliest pile of cack I have ever seen. The idiot who approved this needs to be sacked asap.
I am so glad I don't have to use the website regularly. I love love love the service! But the website is hideous. Terrible colours and it's now far too difficult to find anything. And what exactly does "Build it. Break it. Tweak it. Blog it. Share it. Take. Give. Be an expert. Or become one." mean?
Repeatedly stating that 'you are listening' does not equate to actually taking on board valid concerns.
If you think that the furore on your forums is about 'the colours' then your are deluded. The new site is aesthetically and functionally poor, you bought into some Soho, Nathan Barley-esque branding company's new clothes.
It may be embarrassing, but you really must admit the mistake and completely redesign from the ground up.

It would appear that you are desperately trying to make the companys image how YOU want it to look, when NOONE else likes it.
Infact, to be blunt, everything thinks its shit. Me included.
I suggest you do some Market research. Take a screenshot of the main 5 ISP's websites, including yours and print them all out.
Then ask yourself the following question (regardless of brand, or quality, just based on the company image);
"Who would i buy Broadband from?"
The answer is, anyone but you.

Dont try to fix something thats bad by changing the colour, just replace it, quickly, admit failure people will respect you more.
